Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Introducing Mr. Buddy, a charming and endearing elderly gentleman who is sure to melt your heart. Much like Buddy the Elf, Mr. Buddy is truly one of a kind. Affectionately known as the "chubby monkey," "rollie pollie," or simply the "Bud-man," he came into our care when his previous owner could no longer look after him. Mr. Buddy is a sweet-natured dog who craves affection and cuddles. While he has successfully shed a few pounds, his gait was slightly affected due to neglect in nail trimming. Fortunately, we've addressed this issue, and he can now navigate stairs with ease and even enjoys a gentle jog in the yard. To ensure Mr. Buddy lives a longer and healthier life, he'll need an owner who can carefully manage his food portions. He appreciates the company of other dogs but prefers a more relaxed interaction rather than being overwhelmed. Please note that he's not a fan of cats. When it comes to living arrangements, Mr. Buddy's barking when left alone suggests that apartment living may not be suitable for him. A townhome with considerate neighbors or detached walls would be more appropriate. As he cannot be kenneled, he'll need the freedom to roam when you're away. In his golden years, Mr. Buddy deserves a forever home where he will never be abandoned, receive the proper care and attention he needs, and be thoroughly spoiled. If you're ready to provide this loving and compassionate environment, Mr. Buddy is waiting to become a cherished member of your family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Story
Ramit is carefree and energetic. He is vibrant, in great health, with no medical issues or special needs. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. We adopted Ramit in 2018. He is 7 years old and 18 lbs. He loves cuddling on the couch, going for walks, and chasing balls around the dog park. He is friendly with everyone -- strangers, little kids, and other pets. We have two young babies and he has never once been aggressive with them. He is house-trained and overall well-behaved, although he is not well-trained. For example, he tends to jump up when visitors come over and his "sit, stay, come" commands could be improved :) We will miss him a lot, but we know this is the right choice for our growing young family. We want to make sure he goes to a loving owner/family who will take great care of him, who can give him the love and attention he deserves, where he will be happy and bring his new owner joy as well.

Older/considerate kids would be best Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Does well being left loose in the house alone The most adorable chocolate chihuahua reporting for duty! They call me Pumba. The past year has not been good to me. I was put in an animal control shelter in Texas. I was found very Malnourished and Flea infested. I did have a microchip; my owners were notified but never came to claim me. That's okay, I am looking for a better beautiful future. I am food obsessive and would have to be fed separate if other pets are in the home. Foster mom thinks this is because of my never knowing where my next food source would come from. So, I will resource guard all my food and treats from other dogs. I'm ok with humans around my food/treats. I'm fine with 2 small dogs and 1 large dog in my foster home. But I sure would like more single attention of my own. I snuggle under the blankets for sleep time. I will go in a open crate with blankets also. I do not however like the door to be shut on me. I will bark continuously. I really don't need to be locked in. I am a good boy. I hate this cold Minnesota weather, so I do my business right away when I go out. I have also used the potty pad now and then, so I don't have to venture out. I do very well on a leash and love a good walk. I have a nice large fenced in yard here. I probably should have a single dwelling as I can be vocal if crated and left alone. I do alert if someone is at the door. Hi, Pumba 's foster mom here. Please fill out an application if Pumba has caught your eye. I would be very happy to answer any questions you may have about him. He would make a wonderful companion for most anyone. But I think he would love his very own person or two with all their attention devoted to him. Thank you for reading his profile!
