Story
My name is Stegosaurus, but I'm not exactly what you'd picture. Instead of giant spikes, I have the cutest floppy ears you've ever seen, and instead of roaring, I'd much rather give you kisses and curl up beside you for a nap. 🦕❤️Life hasn't always been kind to me, and I've learned that trust is something special. But once you've earned it, you'll have a companion who loves with his whole heart. My favorite place in the world is wherever my people are. Whether we're heading out on an adventure, taking a leisurely walk, or simply relaxing on the couch for a nap, I'm happiest by your side.I'm quite the gentleman, if I do say so myself. I walk nicely on my leash, rarely make a peep, ride in the car like a champ, and I absolutely love meeting new people. In fact, one of my favorite hobbies is handing out kisses to everyone I meet. I've been told my sweet eyes can melt even the toughest hearts, and honestly, I think they're right. And if my eyes don't win you over, my adorable ears just might. They have a way of expressing exactly what I'm thinking and somehow make me look extra cute no matter what I'm doing.I weigh about 60 pounds, though my vet says I could stand to lose a few more. If I'm being completely honest, that's easier said than done because I love treats! I'm smart, funny, and sometimes just a little stubborn. I love chewing on my bones, playing with my squeaky toys, and finding ways to make my people laugh.I'm fully house-trained and crate-trained, too. My foster parents work long hours, so I'm comfortable spending time in my kennel, although if I had my way, we'd all stay home together every day.I also love other dogs and have a great time meeting and playing with them. That said, when it comes to sharing my things and my people's attention, I can get a little sensitive. Because of that, I'd do best as the only pet in my forever home, where I can soak up all the love and attention for myself.I do get very excited when I meet people I love and sometimes forget my manners by jumping up to say hello. My foster family and I are working on that, and I'm getting better every day. After all, when you're this happy to see your favorite people, it's hard to contain yourself! What I really want is a family who understands that good things are worth waiting for. If you can give me a little patience while I learn to trust, I promise to repay you with endless loyalty, unconditional love, and plenty of kisses. I'll be your couch buddy, adventure partner, loyal shadow, and biggest fan all rolled into one.So if you've been dreaming of having a cute and sweet dinosaur of your very own, I'm your guy!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
