Story
Dog Name: Alfie Breed: Miniature Pinscher Mix Sex: Male Age: 4 years Weight: 17lbs Medical Needs: None Housebroken: Yes, no accidents in his foster home. Crate Trained: Yes, but if he had a vote...he'd rather not be in there. Good in Car: Yes Good on a Leash: Yes, he loves going for walks. Energy Level: Alfie is a cozy blanket kind of guy. He'll happily snooze most of the day away, but he perks up for outside time and toys. Need a Fenced in Yard: Not required but he'd definitely enjoy one. Dog Friendly: Yes. He co-exists very well with the resident dogs in his foster home, but he's not super interested in playing. He also prefers not to share toys, treats, or food. If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive home? No Cat Friendly: If there is a cat that keeps their distance, he will be fine. He was evaluated with VERY friendly dog-savvy cats and he loved them about as much as Chappell Roan loves paparazzi (which is....keep your distance and please stop trying to touch me). Kid Friendly: Unknown but he would probably be fine. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them: Look at those ears! Isn't he handsome?? Alfie really is such a catch. He's fully trained, super low maintenance, and honestly just wants to be included. He doesn't need a ton of attention - he's perfectly happy just hanging out in the same room as you and curling up next to you on the couch. Alfie loves toys especially if he can rip the stuffing out (durable toys are a must!). He's also a bit of a foodie - he prefers only the really good treats, and likes his meals with a little broth mixed in. He's just as happy going for walks and exploring...as he is spending the entire day wrapped up in a blanket on the couch, he has truly never met a blanket he didn't love. Alfie is a little gentleman and will make someone an absolutely amazing companion. Foster's Location: Felton, DE Application can be found here: [https://www.grrde.org/adoption-application](https://www.grrde.org/adoption-application) (if you already have an approved application on file email [GrassRootsDE@gmail.com](mailto:GrassRootsDE@gmail.com) and ask the app team to pull your app) ##1344393##
