Meet Lela — a tiny girl with a heart big enough to fill your whole home. ❤️ Lela is an 8 kg Pinscher whose world changed when her beloved owner sadly passed away. With no one left to care for her, she found her way into our rescue — and from the very first day, she reminded us just how resilient love can be. At seven years young, Lela is thriving. She’s in wonderful health, full of gentle energy, and ready to enjoy many more happy years with a family of her own. She may be small in size, but her capacity for love is enormous. Lela is the kind of dog who wants to be wherever you are. She adores people, loves to cuddle, and will happily curl up beside you as your loyal little shadow. Sweet, affectionate, and endlessly devoted, she truly just wants to belong again. She’s also wonderfully social — great with other dogs and gentle with cats — making her an easy fit for many homes. Whether it’s a quiet evening on the couch or a leisurely stroll, Lela will be right by your side, grateful for every moment. Lela is: ✨ Spayed ✨ Up to date on vaccinations ✨ Microchipped ✨ Good with dogs and cats ✨ Sweet, cuddly, and people-loving Lela isn’t just looking for a home — she’s looking for her person. Someone to be her safe place, her constant, her forever. In return, she promises unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and a heart full of love. Story
Name: Hazel Age: 1 year Sex: Spayed Female Spayed: Yes Breed: Miniature Pinscher mix Color: Black / Brown Weight: 3.6 kg Height (shoulder): 23 cm   Rescue Story   Hazel was rescued from a severe animal hoarding situation where dozens of dogs were found living together in poor conditions. All of the dogs were taken to a city shelter, and Hazel was fortunately rescued before her situation became worse. She is now safe and slowly learning what life with people can be like.   ‍‍ Socialization with People   Hazel can be a little shy at first, but when someone calls her she will approach and happily settle into their arms. Because she grew up in a hoarding environment, she tends to be more cautious about new environments than people. In unfamiliar places, she often looks to humans for reassurance and comfort.   She has not met children under 13 yet, but we do not expect major issues. She can be picked up by placing an arm under her belly, and once she becomes comfortable with someone she will even roll over to show her belly.   Socialization with Other Dogs   Since Hazel grew up with many dogs, she is used to living with them and often seeks comfort from the dogs she grew up with. They tend to sleep together in a little group, although she hasn’t shown a lot of playful interaction yet.   She may feel uncomfortable around larger dogs but is generally friendly with dogs of a similar or smaller size. If another dog challenges her, she prefers to avoid conflict and will simply move away.   With Cats   Her reaction to cats has not been observed yet, but a test can be arranged if needed.   Energy Level   Hazel has a low energy level and enjoys spending most of her time resting calmly.   Walks   She has not had much experience outside yet. When something unfamiliar appears, she may tremble out of fear. However, once she forms a strong bond with her person, she tends to follow them closely, which may make walks easier as her confidence grows.   Additional Notes   Hazel does not guard food from either people or other dogs. She currently does not show severe separation anxiety, but because of her hoarding background and strong bonds with the dogs she lived with, some initial adjustment may occur when separated from them.   She rarely barks, although she may bark along if other dogs start barking. She stays calm when placed in a kennel and is currently pad trained. Apply to adopt or foster: https://adoptmekr.org Please also visit our Facebook or Instagram!
