Story
Lil Mac may have once had a reputation as a ladies’ man, but he’s recently discovered that with patience, trust, and plenty of treats, guys can be pretty great too! His foster dad has completely won his heart, and watching Mac’s confidence grow has been truly special. This gentle, sensitive soul is learning that the world isn’t as scary as he once thought—and he’s taking big, brave steps every day. Mac recently began training sessions and is doing incredibly well. He’s eager to learn, soaking up new skills, and proudly showing off just how smart he is. His confidence is blossoming, and it’s a joy to watch him come into his own. Lil Mac thrives in a calm, cozy home where he can relax and feel safe being himself. Once you earn his trust, you’ll have a devoted snuggle buddy for life—loyal, loving, and happiest curled up right by your side. He’s been cat-tested and does wonderfully with feline friends, too! Mac would do best in a home without young children. Do you have a soft spot for sweet underdogs? Whether you’re a dog-loving lady or a kind-hearted soul like his foster dad, Lil Mac might just be your perfect match. Story
Charm is one of 3 tiny sisters (all related to Vinny, a SPR alumni). Charm is the tiniest of the litter and is the most energetic one. She is a tail-shaker and loves doing the "play-pose" with all dogs and with humans. She also likes to be held like a baby if possible. Her short legs make her a toy-puppy. Charm is learning to potty and is being crate-trained. Rescue story: Charm and her sisters Trinket and Treasure were surrendered by the same family that gave Vinny away (he was born out of an older litter). Fortunately, this family agreed to fix their mamma dog but they refused to surrender her. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.) To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. PLEASE READ:  •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.  •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.    •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments. Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well. Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation. For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application. Sandy Paws Rescue’s MA license number # 0272 ##2641693##

Story
Treasure is one of 3 tiny sisters (all related to Vinny, a SPR alumni). Treasure is largest and most confident puppy of the litter. She is curious about cats and wants to go “talk” to them. She’s an explorer and will go where her sisters wouldn’t there (new patch of grass, approach new dogs). Treasure will do well in a home where she can be supervision since she can be a bit of a “daredevil.” Treasure is learning to potty and is being crate-trained. Rescue story: Treasure and her sisters Charm and Trinket were surrendered by the same family that gave Vinny away (he was born out of an older litter). Fortunately, this family agreed to fix their mamma dog, but they refused to surrender her. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. Story
Trinket is one of 3 tiny sisters (all related to Vinny, a SPR alumni). Trinket is medium-sized baby of the litter and can be a bit shy with new people. She will ask her foster dad to hold her like a baby when meeting strangers. Everything in her is in the “middle” in comparison to her sisters: her legs aren’t too short nor too long and her weight is 8.4 lbs. (sister Charm weighs 6.6 lbs. while sister Treasure’s weight is 10 lbs.). Trinket is learning to potty and is being crate-trained. Rescue story: Trinket and her sisters Charm and Treasure were surrendered by the same family that gave Vinny away (he was born out of an older litter). Story
Tangent is a precious senior girl, approximately 10 years old, currently in foster care through the Town of Thompson. She came to us as an owner surrender when her previous owner could no longer provide the care she needed. Despite everything she’s been through, Tangent remains incredibly loving, gentle, and full of heart. Upon intake in October, Tangent required immediate medical attention for bilateral chronic ear infections and Lyme disease, both of which have been treated. Further evaluation revealed that she also needs dental care, with an estimated cost of $1,500, to help her live comfortably and pain-free. Tangent is truly a gem — great with kids, cats, and everyone she meets. She has the sweetest personality and the most adorable little dance when she walks that’s guaranteed to make you smile. 💃🐾 This sweet girl deserves a warm home, soft bed, and a future free from pain. She’s given nothing but love, and now she’s hoping for someone to give her a second chance at the happy, healthy life she deserves. 💗 Let’s help Tangent find her forever home and the care she needs. Every share, donation, and kind word helps make that possible.
