Story
Hi, my name is Zoe. I was driving down the highway when I saw a little dog almost get ran over. I was able to call out to her and she ended up hopping in the car thankfully. Super sweet girl, but I do believe she either is about to give birth or recently may have given birth. She follows you everywhere throughout the house Ive noticed, so she is not a fan of being alone, but she adjusts. I didnt want to leave her out there on the busy highway. I would keep her, but my roommate doesnt approve at all unfortunately. I don’t want anything to happen to her, I can tell she is young maybe 2 at max. Hopefully someone would be able to help her, also she is NOT microchipped. She is currently with me now, but idk how long I’ll be able to keep her before my roommate has a fit. Hope to hear back soon, thank you, Zoe.

Story
Tiva is a typical Min Pin! She takes her time to warm up to you but once she trusts you she is yours forever! She loyal, smart, and protective of her friends! Tiva was found running the streets of San Antonio. The person who found her kept her for several weeks then decided she needed help with finding the right home for her. She did not want Tiva to end up on the streets again! We are not sure how Tiva would do with young children as she is one that will need someone who will be patient with her and let her warm up first.

Please contact JoEllen (sagdinfo@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/       ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process.  Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ ** June is a beautiful 2-year-old Miniature Pincher blend who weighs approximately 7 pounds. She initially is timid in new environments. But once she gains confidence in her new home, her sweet temperament becomes apparent. June is active and playful but also enjoys quiet time with her toys. She will make a loyal companion. June was also diagnosed with uveitis of unknown etiology. This means the lens in her left eye is cloudy. This could occur if the eye was injured at one point in time. She is not blind and she experiences no discomfort. June loves her toys! She often hoards toys in her dog bed. She also enjoys stealing shoes and dirty laundry for her collection. Her new owner should monitor access to these items and ensure all dog toys are designed for chewers. June may present an escape risk if left in an area without secure fencing. Household members will also need to exercise caution when opening and closing doors to ensure that she doesn’t slip outside or that a door inadvertently closes on her. She may need additional housebreaking training during transition to new home. June did test positive for anaplasmosis which is a bacteria infection caused by a tick bite and she completed a course of doxycycline.  Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $250. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references, and criminal histories. Our adoption events are held each Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232.  Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Additional questions may be directed to sagdinfo@gmail.com. ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Story
My name is Mira!!! So did you see it???? :) Yes, Mira means LOOK in Spanish. So EVERY TIME my foster mom calls me, EVERYONE around us LOOKS!!! :D I am an absolute doll, I love love my people, and other dogs and even the cats in this residence :) My foster mom has some awesome things to say about me... "Mira is a velcro girl. She loves to be touching her person. She does great with other dogs and even kitties. She is an in your face pup, so some dogs may not like that, but most playful pups do not care. She is crate trained. We are working on leash and house training. Both are making great progress. I doubt she was ever in a house before but she's learning all the rules quickly. She really seeks out the love!" So MIRA.... i am waiting for just my forever family. I am ready for you!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
They do not have to be adopted together. These sweet babies were rescued from a hoarding situation. They were all very sick with parasites and needed to be in a medical foster home for about a month. Now, healthy and ready to find their forever homes, they wait. Bean and Sprout are very playful, curious, smart and have lots of energy, they also love giving kisses. If interested in meeting the boys please email us for an application.
