Story
Tammy, Tessa and Tex are 3 gorgeous chi mix pups that are approximately 15-17 weeks old and weigh around 6-7 lbs. While we do not know their parents, we estimate they will be no bigger than 12-13 lbs once full grown. Tammy and Tessa are both female and Tex is a male, they are all siblings. They were found along the Texas/Mexico border – no parents in sight. They were starving, dehydrated and fighting just to live day to day. Now these babies are safe, well fed and loving life. They are happy little rugrats that love other dogs and would thrive in a home with or without other dogs in it. Their current home does have doggies, and they love playing with them. Given these babies’ background, they can be a little shy, but it doesn’t take long for them to come around and come out of their shell. They have met kitties and they are more scared of cats than anything else. They love to play but also love to sleep and they are learning cuddling is a wonderful thing. Tex, Tammy and Tessa would do great with children 5+ as they are very small and can be timid at first, but once they are comfortable, they are little energizer bunnies that keep going and going. These babies are current on bordatella (kennel cough), parvo/distemper boosters, rabies vaccine, dewormed, microchipped, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, and will receive a negative fecal test and a clean bill of health prior to adoption. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org PLEASE NOTE: This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed ($595) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, Enfield, New Haven and Dayville, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh, Elkton and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.

Story
Demi is a great little girl! She is smaller in person than she looks in her photos, she currently weighs around 22 lbs at 6 months old. She would love an active family, she is very people friendly and makes dog friends easily. Demi was introduced to 3 boys today and 4 cats to test how she was with everyone. She got an A++ with everyone. She truly is a gem and is going to make one family so very happy! She absolutely loves the kids, she wasn't overbearing, she gave hugs, rolled over for belly rubs and leaned into the kids for affection. Demi loves to run, she tries to get the other puppies in her playgroup to chase her, mainly because she knows she can out run them. She is agile and smart! Demi would do best in a home where she would have room to run and play, she would make a great little sister to another dog. She may be too much "puppy" for a senior dog. She is a smart girl and responds well to positive reinforcement and is learning to sit for treats. Demi will make a great companion and will give years of loyalty, joy and unconditional love. If you are looking for a well rounded, social puppy with a sweet nature and great temperament, look no further than Demi 💕 We are unsure of the exact breed mix this beautiful girl is. We believe she will be a medium sized dog as an adult in the 40 lb range. She will come current on her vaccines, spayed, microchipped and is on monthly flea/heartworm prevention. **This is an Out Of Town listing. We transport to the city on this listing.** Adoption fee is $400 which includes transport. _______________________________ Considering adoption? Start by filling out our online application (copy and paste the following link) https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DIX/dog Once submitted, we’ll review it and reach out to approved applicants by phone or email. COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a generated confirmation email. DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION IF YOU ARE NOT CURRENTLY READY TO ADOPT. All of our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them once adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved. WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks. We facilitate adoptions through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY. Our dogs travel in comfort with 24/7 care. We have been facilitating long distance adoptions since 2019. ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible. ***
