Story
PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - ROSEY BREED - Miniature Pinscher mix SIZE - About 16 pounds AGE - 2 years GENDER - Female MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Rosey is a lovely gal who came to us recently from a central NC shelter. She is believed to be 1-2 years old, and fully grown at just over 15 pounds. Rosey is delightful and a joy to be around. She is initially a bit shy and takes a bit of time learning to trust new people but she remains very friendly during the process. She is happy and playful and loves to play ball. Rosey is kind to the other dogs in our rescue and loving with all the volunteers. She is in good health, spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. We are seeking a home for her with a securely fenced yard where she can safely run and play. A home without small children and without larger pets will keep her from being accidentally harmed. Rosey would love an active adopter who has the ability to work from home or be at home a good part of the day to spend time with her! Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of the Rosey and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family to meet Rosey at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting her and determining that she matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner.
