Story
Meet Dusty! 🤍🐩
Age: 2 years
Weight: 9 lbs
Guessed Breed: Miniature Poodle
Don't let all that fluff fool you—underneath is a little shadow who's happiest wherever his person is. Dusty is the definition of a lap dog and would gladly spend his day curled up beside you, riding shotgun on errands, or following you from room to room.
Dusty is house trained and uses a dog door like a pro. He's crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is an excellent passenger in the car, making him an easy companion for everyday life.
He gets along well with other dogs but prefers friends closer to his own size who aren't overly rambunctious. While he enjoys canine company, he's much more interested in soaking up attention from his favorite human.
Dusty is looking for a home with older, respectful children. He simply doesn't enjoy the unpredictable, grabby nature of young kids and is happiest with people who will respect his space and let him choose when it's time for affection.
He's not one to take off running, but we would still love to see him in a home with a securely fenced yard. If given the opportunity, his curiosity may lead him to wander.
As a Miniature Poodle, Dusty will need regular grooming every 6–8 weeks, along with routine brushing at home to keep his soft, fluffy coat healthy, comfortable, and free of mats.
If you've been looking for a devoted little companion who wants to be by your side through every errand, movie night, and lazy afternoon, Dusty is ready to claim his spot on your lap—and in your heart. ❤️
