Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! Coco puff and Lone Wolf. These two are siblings, but not in the usual way.  They aren't from the same litter....not even the same mix-breed! Still, 2 weeks ago they came together and bonded like any brother and sister! They take turns beating on /annoying the other...however,  Coco seems to take top marks in this. The first word that comes to mind with Coco Puff is....ADORABLE! This little girl looks very much like one of the fluffy, battery-powered,  toy dogs that you might see when walking by a vendor's stall at the mall. She's a mass of wooly puff-balls.....and she's constantly in motion! She loves to wrestle with her current 'brother' Lone Wolf, as well as the 4 house chihuahuas....and cats.. in her foster home.As one of her 2 foster moms I have my own opinion about her breed origin. My spouse, the Long-time volunteer says that she is a 'poodle mix'. I,  on the other hand,  was stationed at MCAS Iwakuni Japan in 76, and I helped capture 2 wild Akita puppies living in a den under an abandoned control tower. She looks very much like my 'Teddi bear'. She has many of the Akita traits : fur texture, coloring, and the recognized curled tail flying proudly over her back! She also displays 'Teddi Bear's' attitude!Constantly ready to play and explore, loves to interact...with animals or people, especially on the floor! She dances about and talks, sometimes even coming up on her hind legs to dance. I think she could be taught to 'sit up' quite easily.Unlike her 'brother', Lone Wolf, she loves to cuddle and snuggle,  although she'll still be on the lookout for another adventure to escape to!Adoption fees include up to date on vaccines, treatment for fleas and worms, spay, chip implantation and initial registration.  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/32026/genericYou can meet Fudgy at Fontana Petco on Sundays from 12-4.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Apply on-line using the link to our application.  Please be sure to use the species specific application for a dog or cat.  Adoption events are held every Sunday, excluding holidays, at the Fontana Petco.  The Fontana Petco is located at the corner of Sierra and Sierra Lakes Parkway, just off the 210 freeway, April 28, 2024, 6:13 am

Story
Hershey is a poodle/ French bulldog puppy mix. Her brindle hair is terrier-like, and is short, but soft and wavy. Stub tail. Born @early December 2023. 14-15 lbs so far, and growing. She's a very sweet, intelligent, well mannered, and affectionate little girl. She loves playing with other puppies. She's in the puppy stage of chewing on everything, including chairs!  So she will need lots of activity and toys. She had all her vaccines and boosters, is spayed, and ready for her new home.  Would love a pal of her own species.  Email your impressive application to get an appointment to spend time with her - see what she needs/wants and how that matches up with your wishes and requirements.  We make one hour appts Wednesday through Sunday between 9am and 2 pm. *Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Please look at our website and make a list of one or more dogs that you would like to see. The adoption fee is a tax-deductible donation to our 501c3 rescue and includes vaccines, worming microchips, and spaying/neutering. Meet and greets will only be scheduled after a completed and signed application is submitted. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis...We do our homework and ensure the home is the best possible situation for the pet based on breed specifics and the lifestyle of the potential home. Breed descriptions are the best guess since we do not know both parents... One Mutt at a Time does our best to establish possible breed mixes using our experience in consultation with our vet. We make no guarantees to breed combinations unless we know both parents. This is a mixed breed dog of unknown origin unless otherwise stated. Story
Judge's adoption fee is $475 Judge was adopted from the shelter and then dumped several months later. He has had a lot of upheaval in his life and needs a longterm permanent family situation so he can begin to reach his full potential. We recommend no kids under 10 for Judge only because he isn't confident in himself. He could be someday, but not today. The adoption fee is a tax-deductible donation to our 501c3 rescue and includes vaccines, worming microchips, and spaying/neutering.
