Both are doing well with each other, no aggression seen from either.11/29/23 9:00 Was able to groom him yesterday without sedation11/29/23 14:09 Took him out to the play yard for pictures. Nice boy. Allowed my to put a sweater on him for his picture. Kept walking around the yard but coming over every now and then for some attention. Sweet, elderly guy who needs a lap to sleep on.

Cracker is now Jax, thank you Lisa for the new name. Jax took his freedom walk out of the shelter today and is now with his foster. She has this to report: "Hi, Leti— no supplies needed. He did great with introductions, and is a very sweet loving boy— but he has does some reactive behavior that might be hard for just anyone. He does have resource guarding, but we knew that— it’s like he’s had to fight for food or wasn’t treated well in the past. He also gets a bit territorial with his sleep space. When he settles in and one of the other dogs try to come around him, he growls and gets angry/ unsettled very easily. It’s day one, so I’m hoping once he starts feeling safe and starts to decompress he will start to loosen up a bit. All that said— he had a great time running around the yard with my pups, he let me give him a bath (and he was such a sweet boy), and he ate all his dinner (even though he was angry and growing the whole time, lol)." Thank you Lisa for the terrific pictures. We want to give Jax some time to decompress, so it may be a couple of weeks before he is ready for adoption. Jax is a poodle/mix, three years old, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Bubbles is an adorable affectionate Schnauzer poodle mix. She requires an all adult household no children please. She would be best suited for a very quiet household single female or a couple. She is very sweet to her owner however she is not always to be trusted around strangers. She has never nipped at me but she is not comfortable around others. She is perfectly house trained she uses the dog door she is not a food monger she's very polite when you offer her a treat she's very sensitive and kind to her owners after she establishes trust. She will attempt to nip it others (she has not bitten anyone) ... it takes her a time to while to warm up. Bubbles also loves my best friend there is never been an attempt to nip out my best friend she needs to establish trust. She loves to go on walks and when I take her to my horse ranch she is off leash and plays with the other dogs and listens quite well. She crates well and does excellent in the car.
