We got Simba during Covid from a Puppy store as our first dog, knowing nothing about how to take care of them. He is a miniature Woodle. Is a poodle and wheaten Terrier mix. We’ve had him since 6 months old. He absolutely loves playing fetch, and “Keepy Uppy” with balloons. He is very energetic and loves walks. He has all of his shots, and is neutered. He is in great health and no medical issues. Unfortunately, as of late, he has gotten cranky with one particular family member, but is usually great with everyone.He doesn’t like rain or thunder, but is otherwise a great dog. He knows a few tricks from beginner dog training at PetSmart. He can sit, lay down, give paw, and does Leave it/Take It very well. We need to rehome him bc I am no longer able to work from home & will have to return to the office and on the road most of the month. This means he would be alone in his crate for most of the day and I’d rather him be with a family that has time to spend with him.

Please welcome Chloe to Five Friends Animal Rescue. This sweet girl is between 1 - 3 yo and weighs about 20lbs. Chloe was just pulled from a shelter where she was very stressed but as you can see, she is settling in quickly. Chloe is a happy girl who loves to cuddle, play and will follow you everywhere! She is in a foster home with another dog and is doing great. Chloe is very food motivated and we can already see that she is very smart. Chloe will need to be groomed approx every six weeks so please take that into consideration if you are thinking of adopting her. Gordon is 8 years old, and will turn 9 in October 2026. We have had him since he was a puppy.Gordon is Havanese-Poodle. Even in his later years, he is very energetic, sociable, attentive, vocal, and playful. He desires a lot of attention. He loves to play with toys, be outside, look out the window, and be close to you. He can be very anxious, especially with car rides, haircuts, and the vet. Gordon does bark often.He is house-trained, no-shed, crate-trained, no known medical issues. He is not current on vaccinations because he has been extremely anxious with vets. The ideal adopter would have a single family home, child-free home, a fenced yard, and a lot of time to give. While he has been great with our other dog, he would thrive being the only pet and center of the adopter's attention.Since our son was born, it has become clear that children cause anxiety/stress for Gordon. We are having our second & are mindful that the amount of time we have to give is low.
