Meet Darla! She is a one year old… Yorkie Doodle? Schnauzer doodle? Not sure, but just another unwanted doodle. Was her doodle energy too much? Was the grooming too expensive? Did the breeder say she was hypoallergenic and then someone had an allergic reaction? Was she suppose to be a mini, toy size and got too large at 15 ish lbs? We won’t know. She was dropped off at Animal control in her plastic kennel, the dropper offer claimed she was just paid to deliver, when asked for her drivers license, she went to the car and never came back in. Darla is a little reserved. She will need a go slow approach, she has loved before and it left her heartbroken, so she plays hard to get. Once she knows you are safe, she is amazing and loyal.Darla was not socialized well around other dogs, and she is too playful for many of the dogs in her foster home. She needs slow introductions and would need to meet any potential housemates prior to being adopted. She would also do well in a single dog home. She loves her toys! She is very treat motivated. His fluffy fur is especially soft to the touch, adding to his overall sweetness. Casper was matched for adoption once before, but that family never came to pick him up, leaving him still waiting for his real forever home. Casper may be missing one eye or have some other difference there, something a vet visit will help clarify, though it doesn't appear to slow him down in the slightest. He continues to be playful and engaged, sitting nicely for treats and showing off his sweet, eager-to-please nature. Casper is ready for a second chance at finding his family. This adorable, soft-coated boy has so much love to give, and he's more than ready for someone to finally follow through and bring him home. Please read the entire bio for this rescue, it will provide all the information that one needs to decide if they would like to apply to adopt from SCMR.Jimmy Adoption fee $400.00 Who's up for a bouncy 2 year old poodle boy?! Jimmy came to us as a stray so we have no background on him. But the vet thinks he's around 2 because of his beautiful teeth. He is a sturdy 16 and a half pounds and pretty well house trained. He prefers to go outside but will use a pee pad if he needs to. And he sleeps in bed all night long without having to get up to go. In fact, he is a bit of a bed bug and even after 8-9 hours sleep, has to be coaxed out of bed! He loves to play and is generally good with other dogs as long as there is no food involved. He can be aggressive over his chow and treats. So we think it would be best for him to be an only dog. He llikes to stretch out in my lap at night before bed time and get a nice rub down. We believe Jimmy has a chicken allergy because he can get very itchy. He has to have a periodic Cytopoint shot. He also takes a Zyrtec twice a day in his food. And he has to be on special food. He eats Open Farm salmon kibble. Also he loves apples and gets 3 apple chunks with each meal. Jimmy has been fully vetted and is up to date on all shots and heartworm and flea meds. He's a sweet boy and deserves a loving home. Please read our Senior for Senior adoption policy, that is on our website.
