Story
Kayvee is the definition of a gentle, loving soul! She truly lives to love and to please her person. Kayvee is a quick learner, and she does a cute ballerina dance when she wants to be picked up. She loves her squeaky toys and going outside to chase squirrels. She does well on a leash for walks. She is okay with a crate, but prefers to sit on foster mom's lap. Her favorite place to sleep is in the human bed where she feels safe. Other dogs: She coexists nicely with other small dogs and tends to do her own thing, though she does enjoy a little “chat” with the neighbor’s dog through the fence. Children: Slow to warm up to children, and is learning that little human visits can be safe. Adults: Kayvee is slow to warm up to strangers, and she is working on becoming accustomed to men. Potty Training Progress: Kayvee is house-trained and is working on defined signaling. Other things to know about HHR Kayvee: Kayvee would do best in a quiet home with small dogs and the adopter is home more than not. Large crowds and children make her nervous, so a home without children would be best.

Story
This sweet boy is looking for a forever home after being found as a stray. He is a young adult mini poodle or poodle mix. Overall, he is very well behaved, completely potty trained, already neutered, great with our cat and young kids. He takes treats from your hand super gently and has shown no food aggression. He is super gentle, loves to cuddle and is very much a velcro dog once he finds his person. His downfalls are that he does have separation anxiety and does not like to be left, or when someone walks out the door without him. He is kennel trained and will go into his kennel happily for treats, but then barks and whines after the door is closed. He also is a flight risk and will run out the door and be hard to catch, so he probably needs a well-secured fenced yard. Can be high energy and loves to run around the back yard when he gets the zoomies, but will calmly sleep in bed with his person all night, too. He is a very good boy and deserves a loving home who can meet his needs.
