Story
After spending her life in a large commercial breeding operation, Dolly is finally getting the chance to learn what comfort, safety, and love truly feel like. Dolly is an incredibly sweet, gentle dog who simply wants to be close to people. Since entering foster care, Dolly has slowly started coming out of her shell. She enjoys exploring the yard, relaxing in soft places to nap, and soaking up quiet affection from her caregivers. Her foster reports that she is gaining confidence every day. Dolly does have significant medical needs, and we want her future family to understand both the joys and responsibilities that come with loving her. She is currently receiving treatment for a number of health concerns, and her long-term prognosis remains uncertain. Despite these challenges, Dolly continues to show us that she still has joy, comfort, and love to give. What Dolly needs most now is kindness. She needs a family willing to meet her where she is, celebrate the good days, and make sure whatever time she has ahead is filled with comfort, compassion, and love.

Story
Goldie is a gentle, affectionate dog who is finally getting the chance to experience life as a beloved companion instead of part of a breeding operation. Despite her difficult past, she has remained incredibly social and loving with both people and other dogs. She happily seeks out attention, loves to be petted, and would climb right into your lap if given the chance. Since leaving her previous environment, Goldie has been learning what it means to simply be a dog. She walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and has done well with children, cats, and dogs of all sizes. She especially enjoys the company of other dogs and seems to take comfort in having canine friends around her. Goldie may not know much about toys yet, but she absolutely knows how to love. Watching dogs like Goldie discover safety, comfort, and affection for the first time is incredibly special, and she deserves a family ready to continue showing her how wonderful life can be. If you are looking for a sweet, social companion with a resilient heart and so much love to give, Goldie may be your perfect match.

Story
Meet Mila Mila is a gentle, tender-hearted girl who is learning that life can be soft, safe, and full of love. She came from a less-than-happy background with a commercial breeder, so household life is still new to her. She is acclimating slowly, bravely, and on her own timeline. Mila startles easily and will do best in a calm, quiet home with someone who understands that trust is built in small moments. Loud chaos, constant activity, and a revolving door of excitement are not really her thing. Mila is more of a “curl up beside you and quietly adore you” kind of girl. And that is where she shines. Mila is a top-tier snuggler and a deeply loyal little companion. Once she feels safe, she wants to stay close to your side, offering steady, quiet company in the sweetest way. She is not demanding or wild. She simply wants a person to love and a peaceful place to belong. She does fine with other animals, but it is clear that Mila would truly prefer to be someone’s one-and-only. She deserves a home where she can be the center of someone’s heart, not because she is pushy, but because she is finally ready to know what it feels like to be chosen. Mila is eating well, sleeping well, and working on house training. She is still adjusting to crate time and may bark when first left alone, but she does settle. Because she is still learning how to live in a home, being safely contained when unsupervised is best for both her safety and your belongings. Mila may not walk into a home acting like she has owned the place since birth. She is softer than that. She will need patience, gentleness, and a family willing to celebrate the quiet victories: the first relaxed nap, the first happy tail wag, the first time she chooses to curl up beside you and stay. For the right person, Mila will be an incredibly special companion. She is sweet, snuggly, loyal, and quietly brave. She is ready for a peaceful home where she can finally exhale.

Story
Meet Sully — a gentle, sunshine-loving sweetheart who is discovering just how good indoor life can be. This laidback boy may be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a little patience and kindness, and you’ll quickly see his soft, snuggly side shine through. Sully’s favorite hobbies include lounging in the sun, taking peaceful neighborhood walks, and making new dog friends along the way. He’s wonderful with kids and other dogs, sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, and is doing an awesome job learning his house manners. He thrives on routine and is eager to please. After coming from a rough past, Sully is still building confidence, so he’d do best with a calm family that will let him settle in at his own pace. Once he feels safe, he becomes an incredibly loyal companion who just wants to be near his people. During thunderstorms, he’ll happily curl up beside you for comfort. Sully also has a goofy side — he occasionally pees on his own feet like many lovable boy dogs, and he takes his meals “extra fancy” with softened food while he continues gaining healthy weight. If you’re looking for a calm, loving dog with a huge heart and an even sweeter soul, Sully may just be your perfect match.

Story
Meet Manny, who comes to us as a stray as he was found by a local resident. Manny is a 3-year-old, 11 lb., Poodle mix. He came to us extremely matted, so we had to shave him down. In no time, however, his beautiful curly coat will be back! (Before pic attached.) We got a great report from our groomer saying he was very well-behaved during his grooming. Manny is neutered, current on his vaccines, and microchipped. He is a favorite amongst the volunteers because is so sweet natured and fun. He loves to walk on a leash and make you laugh with his adorable personality. He gets along with people, kids, and other dogs. If you would like to meet this charming fellow, please reach out to us for an application.
