A513652 Approx 2 year old spayed female. This dog requires a home where she can be the sole canine companion until she receives proper exposure and confidence-building training. A patient household without small children is ideal. This dog was admitted to the shelter as a stray, infested with fleas. Despite treatment, no one has come forward to claim her, and no missing pet postings have been found. We have successfully treated the flea infestation and administered antibiotics for a skin infection caused by excessive scratching. She is learning to engage with dog toys and has a fondness for her plush blanket. Regular grooming will be necessary. Adoption hours are Monday-Friday 11:00-3:30 & Saturday 8:00-11:30.
