I am a happy girl who loves to run around the backyard and play with my toys. I adore my foster brother, even though he sometimes ignores me. When people visit the house, I am quite content to bask in their attention, and lay down for pets and belly rubs. You will find me happy to be outside running around exploring and quite content to chill while you are relaxing. And now, a few words from my foster mom: Meet Benita, a sweet and gentle soul looking for her forever home! Benita is a clever girl who has already mastered the essential skill of house training. She’s a neat and tidy companion, making her a perfect match for someone who appreciates a well-mannered friend. Walking on a leash is a new adventure for Benita. She sets out with enthusiasm and does quite well, though she's still getting used to the sounds of the bustling world around her. With a bit of patience and continued practice, she'll soon be strolling confidently by your side. Benita has a wonderful ability to form close bonds with dogs she knows well, clearly demonstrated by her instant rapport with her current canine housemate. However, she can be apprehensive around unfamiliar dogs she encounters on walks or those visiting her home. She will benefit greatly from patience and understanding as she learns to navigate her fears. It's unclear what experiences in her young life might have led to these anxieties, but with the right support, she can become more confident and secure. She does not show any aggression towards other dogs. Benita's ideal home would be with a loving owner who understands her gentle nature and is ready to provide the support she needs to feel secure. Her sweet disposition and readiness to love makes her an excellent addition to a caring and patient family. Questions?
