Story
Grayson is so sweet, happy, and gentle, but very skittish in new situations, as he came from a terrible breeding situation, and was barely touched. He does come around, but it takes several days. He is only about 2 years old and 35 lbs. He is so fun and happy and silly, when he comes out of his shell, and when he plays with another dog. Grayson needs a dog experienced home, and another dog to help him be his best version of himself, and a fenced yard is a must. Little kids might be too much for this guy, but he does not have a mean bone in him. This poor guy needs a chance to have a wonderful, normal life. He uses a dog door like a champ and is crate trained, but someone needs to teach him new stuff, and people stuff, slowely and with confidence. A must meet, for this little guy will steal your heart for sure. Typical mini-Poodle, in need a a great forever home.  LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   December 1, 2025, 8:43 am

Story
Meet Waffle Almost 2 years old-Cavapoo Waffle came to us from a breeding situation, and despite everything she’s been through, she has remained nothing but soft, loving, and full of quiet sweetness. She’s the kind of dog who looks up at you with big, hopeful eyes, just wanting warmth, safety, and someone who sees her for who she truly is.Waffle does have a heart condition called Subaortic Stenosis (SAS), and her case is on the more severe side. This means there is a significant narrowing just below one of her main heart valves, causing her heart to work much harder to move blood throughout her body.Because of this, Waffle will need:- Lifelong monitoring- Regular veterinary care (possibly including a cardiologist)- Potential long-term medication- A family willing to give her that extra layer of careDogs with more severe SAS can still live loving, joyful lives but they do need someone committed to keeping them comfortable, safe, and supported. And Waffle? She’s worth every bit of it.She is gentle, affectionate, and incredibly soulful. She loves cuddles, soft sweaters, slow walks in the sunshine, and simply being close to the people she trusts. Her diagnosis doesn’t take away who she is,it just means she needs a home prepared to love her a little more intentionally. If you have room in your heart for a dog who will love you with her whole being, and you’re able to support her medical needs, Waffle could be your girl. She’s waiting for that special family who won’t see limitations, just love.

Story
Shorty is a 4-year-old, 18 lb. poodle mix who was transferred from another area shelter—and he’s the total package. Friendly, affectionate, and wonderfully well-adjusted, Shorty is one of those dogs who just makes life better by being in it. He’s an all-around nice guy who loves belly rubs, cuddling, and going for walks, and he’ll happily trot along beside you like the little gentleman he is. As a poodle mix, he will need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. Shorty is open to meeting other dogs, can be cat tested, and would do great with kids, making him an easy and lovable addition to many homes. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly companion with a big smile and a jolly temperament, Shorty is ready to be your new best friend. Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info.
