Hi… I’m Bear 🐾 Yep, like a little teddy bear — except I’m a 5-year-old Miniature Poodle with soft curls and an even softer heart. I’ll be honest with you… when we first meet, I might act a little “grumbly.” New people can make me nervous at first. I just like to take a minute to make sure you’re one of the good ones. But once I figure that out? Oh boy… get ready. I melt. Belly rubs? Yes please. Gentle scratches? Absolutely. Tasty snacks? You might just become my favorite human ever. I love being outside. Feeling the warm sunshine on my fur and the breeze ruffling my curls is pure happiness. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, relaxing in the yard, or just sitting together enjoying the fresh air, that’s my kind of day. My previous owners mentioned something about food aggression, but the wonderful team at CAC has been so patient with me — testing, observing, and giving me lots of positive experiences — and they say I’ve shown them what a sweet boy I truly am. With kindness and consistency, I really shine. I’m just a pup who wants to feel safe and loved. I adore people and attention. Once I bond with you, I’ll be your loyal little shadow. As for other furry friends, we’re not totally sure how I feel yet — but the team is happy to help test and see if I’d enjoy a buddy. What I really want is a home where I can feel secure, soak up affection, enjoy the outdoors, and give all my love to someone who understands that sometimes the best friendships just need a tiny moment to begin.
