Story
💗Meet Blair!💗 Blair has come quiet a long way in the past few months! This sweet girl is 50% Sass & 50% Sweet.. which if I do the math comes to 100% Perfect🥰 She may be in her awkward teenage faze but I’d argue she gets cuter everyday. Blair has been around big/little dogs, and kitties! She’s met a few kids and shows interest but is reserved to crazy kid energy at first. She is very friendly.. if it was possible she’d live in your skin with you, so she opts to shove her head in shirts instead! She loves the car, walks, hikes & baths!! She is kennel trained and potty trained (with frequent potty breaks of course) she is harness trained but could use some work on pulling! I think Blair would do great in a home with another confident dog to continue to show her the ropes, or an active person ready to give her all the attention and love. Let’s find her the perfect family 💗 Feel free to reach out to me @ 509-638-7234 with any questions about her!

Story
Hi, we’re Earl & Julio 🐾 We came in together, and while we’re not required to go home as a pair, we’d definitely love it if we could keep this party going together. We’re best buds, after all—zoomie partners, yard chasers, and all-around good boys. We’re both familiar with Spanish: Sit = siéntate Go to crate = a tu casa Get in the car = tu carro Earl (the doodle): I’m the playful, people-loving guy who’s always ready for a game of fetch. Toss a ball and I’m instantly your best friend. I love walks, duck treats, and just hanging out one-on-one with my person. I’ll need regular grooming to keep me looking this handsome. I’m curious about other dogs but haven’t really hung out with many besides Julio. Not a fan of cats, birds, or sometimes kids—I just like a calmer vibe. Julio (the border collie): I’m the energetic one—running, fetching, chasing… if it moves, I’m probably interested. I love playing ball, romping around the yard, and would thrive with lots of exercise and things to do. I’ll need regular brushing to keep my coat in check. I can be a little unsure around taller men and women at first, but I warm up with time. I’m also curious about other dogs but haven’t had much direct interaction outside of Earl. Together, we’re sweet, playful, and love chasing each other around like it’s our full-time job. We show strong signs of being house trained and are ready to bring double the fun into a home. No known history with cats or kids.

Story
Meet Betsy Ross!  Betsy recently traveled from Texas to find a new home in the PNW area. She is brand new to our rescue and is currently getting settled into a foster home to begin potty, crate, leash, and obedience training. During this period, we will also be learning more about Betsy’s personality, so be sure to check back for more information! In the meantime, she will be spending her days romping, cuddling, getting lots of playtime, love, and going on new adventures with her foster family, all while growing into a healthy pup! We are currently taking applications for Betsy. Betsy is currently located in a foster home in Spokane, WA, and can be transported to your area! (See information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section).   What is Path of Hope Rescue’s Adoption Process? Our adoption process takes on average 7-10 days. Begin by completing the online application. EVERY application receives an email response from us (check your spam folder!). Your personal Matchmaker will contact you, help you find your perfect pup match, and guide you through the process. Meet your potential pup at the home of the foster family (the process may differ slightly for long distance adopters). Bring your potential pup home for a no commitment In Home Trial. In Home Trials are a minimum of (2) nights for a puppy and one week for an adult. Your Matchmaker will check in with you during this time. Sign the adoption paperwork and adopt your new family member! Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue Our adoption process sets us apart. We specialize in learning about you and your family to find just the right fit for you. Our Matchmakers are not only good at what they do; they will also guide you through the entire process.  Our Minimum Adoption Donation is $550 for puppies under a year and $450 for dogs a year and older. We are a WA state registered non-profit and rely heavily on adoption donations to cover the expenses associated with saving lives. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations (when age appropriate) and deworming and heartworm treatment/prevention. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course.  Long Distance adopters (one hour or more from Spokane) may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250. Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon. About Path of Hope Rescue At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events.  Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process. ##2729500##
