She started out with a breeder, passed through two "rescues" who also used her to breed, and most recently ( last 5 years) was lovingly cared for by an owner who was forced to surrender her due to serious medical conditions. Despite all the changes and challenges she's faced, Queenie remains a sweet, gentle soul. She gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and all animals, making her an easy addition to almost any home. Now, Queenie needs our help. We are urgently searching for a foster or forever home where she can finally enjoy the stability, love, and comfort she deserves. **A Tail of Two Boy Puppies** Devon and Matteo are two brothers looking for their forever homes. These boys were born at the rescue after their mom was rescued while pregnant. They have already faced a few challenges, including being bottle-fed after their mom ran out of milk early and overcoming Parvo at eight weeks old. Now, the boys are healthy. They eat well and love attention, fresh air, and sunshine. They turn four months old on June 3. I have listed them together because they either need to stay together (they are twins, born as Preemies, and have been close since birth) or need to be adopted individually into homes with an adult-friendly dog to mentor the puppy. Because they have been handled since birth, both boys are very well socialized and extremely loving. They are shy when meeting new people for the first time. Once held, they love to stay close and be wherever their human is. Matteo has the reddest brown coat and Longer legs. He is a talker and loves to be held and carried like a baby (because they were bottle-fed). Devon is shorter and has a chocolate-colored coat. Both are very outgoing and have excellent personalities These boys will do best in a home with at least one person who works from home or is retired. They need another dog in the home for mentoring and friendship, or to be adopted together.  These are some of the sweetest puppies we have raised, thanks to all the early handling they received. Hershey (Momma’s brother) was given a DNA test. These pups are quite the mixed-breed mutts. Their dominant breeds seem to be Poodle/Aussie Shepherd and Chihuahua. They also have a super mutt mix of Terrier,/Pug/Maltese/German shepherd/, Miniature Pinscher, and a host of other small percentages of breeds. The brother's dominant look is that of a Poodle-Aussie shepherd mix. Cami has never met a lap she didn't appreciate or a person she didn't want to be closer to. She is loving, cuddly, dog-friendly, and brings a sweet, happy energy wherever she goes. Estimated to be around 5 years old and weighing a perfectly portable 15 pounds, Cami looks like she could be a Miniature Poodle/Dachshund mix, though breed and age are simply our best guess. That's because much of it was taken while she was still healing and recovering. Sitting next to you while you answer emails and pretending she is helping? Absolutely. While she loves a good cuddle session, she is not a complete couch potato. Cami has a playful side and enjoys running around and having fun. She balances her lap dog credentials with just enough energy to keep things interesting.
