Story
Meet Sven: The Distinguished Gentleman with the Legendary Eyebrows If wisdom came with a beard and eyebrows worthy of their own fan club, it would look like Sven. At 11 years young, this handsome Miniature Schnauzer is the definition of a perfect gentleman. He's sweet, gentle, and has mastered the art of being everyone's friend. Dogs? Love him. Cats? No problem. Kids? Absolutely. Chickens? Believe it or not, Sven gets along with them too. Sven's story hasn't been an easy one. When his family's home went into foreclosure, he was heartbreakingly left behind. But despite being let down by people, Sven hasn't let it dim his kind spirit. He still greets the world with a wagging tail and a hopeful heart. Now, this silver-snouted sweetheart is looking for a retirement plan that includes soft beds, tasty treats, leisurely strolls, and plenty of love. In return, he'll provide endless companionship, loyal friendship, and daily doses of those spectacular schnauzer eyebrows. Sven isn't asking for much—just a family to cherish him through his golden years the way he deserves. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's already mastered the art of being the best dog ever, Sven is ready to move in and start spoiling you right back. June 9, 2026, 4:20 pm

Story
Location: Richmond, VA (transport to an approved home in certain areas)JourneySchnauzer/Dachshund mix 5 months old 8 pounds Good with dogs: yes Good with kids/cats: Not sure and no way to test UTD on vaccines: YesSpayed: Yes House and crate trained: Yes  Journey has settled completely into the pack running and jumping all over them. Steals toys consistently even following them into their crates like it is her crate as well. One time yesterday she wouldn’t leave Oakley’s crate so she received her treat and shared some time up close with Oakley.Journey must be completely house broken because we’ve not had a single accident, not even in her playpen at night (2200 to 0445).We have learned Journey has a shoe fetish but what girl doesn’t!! So if you need a new pair of shoes leave them out for Journey. She quickly drops it once she realizes you know she has it but did get my favorite sandals while I was busy cleaning the fridge.Journey has met both cats and we are working on reducing her barking at them. When she’s quiet she wants to smell them but doesn’t chase, not that our fat cats would run anyway. She loves the back yard but really prefers you go off the deck with her. It is a big old yard for such a tiny baby after all!Journey is a sweet girl who would love another dog to play with. She is playful, loving but can be shy until she gets comfortable. **we do not allow electric fences/halo collars, runners/tethers or doggy doors**  ##2718435##

Story
KENNEL ID #18804Meet Queenie of The Canine Coven — all the way from Tennessee!  Seven magical little girls inspired by American Horror Story: Coven. Each one has her own personality, charm, and a little bit of puppy magic. Ready to cast a love spell on their forever families.  The Coven was born 12/29/25 and these girls are expected to grow to about 30–50 lbs when fully grown. Their mother is believed to be a Doberman mix, though we suspect there may also be some Lab in the mix and dad was a miniature schnauzer. Queenie and her two sisters Zoe and Myrtle are being fostered by Lindsay in a busy, real-life home—and is absolutely thriving. With kids running around and five other dogs ranging from Mastiff to Chihuahua, these girls have learned how to fit right in. They have wonderful manners, know when it’s time to play, and just as importantly… when it’s time to settle down and relax. They’re the kind of puppies everyone hopes for—well-socialized, easygoing, and already used to the rhythm of a family home. If you’re looking for a happy, adaptable, family-ready puppy, you truly can’t go wrong with one of these girls.
