Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tippie was surrendered to PRBJ when her owner found herself no longer able to care for the little pup.  Tippie is a sweet little miniature schnauzer and yorkie mix - this is known as a snorkie LOL She can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she is lively and active. She is potty trained but you need to take her out often. She can have an accident when very excited or scared. This will improve as she grows and becomes familiar with her new home, but her new owner will need to help her work on this. She is friendly with other dogs around her size and looking to play but can be scared around big dogs. She is used to spending time in the crate, including at night. New puppy parents must be dedicated to obedience, socialization and potty training to ensure the pup grows up to be a happy and well-adjusted. We highly recommend their new family attend puppy training classes. Training classes are the most successful when everyone in the family attends so you all learn about your new puppy.   Foster Update: Tippie is doing great in our house. She is good with our dog, loves going for walks, plays with toys, rides well in the car, and sleeps through the night. She is very active but will always have time to snuggle. I would recommend her for a family with or without dogs, but they should be small or medium because she is so tiny. She is still learning stairs so will need training going up or down. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 2, 2024, 6:01 pm
