Meet Nicole, a 5-6 year old Schnauzer mix with 10 pounds of gentleness and sweetness. This little lady was found as a stray and found herself at the shelter. No one claimed her. Nicole is ready to start her next chapter with a family who will adore her as much as she deserves.Nicole is the kind of pup who believes every person she meets is a potential best friend. Nicole is shy and timid at first but warms up quickly. Nicole has shown great potential with other dogs while at the shelter, though she can be a little shy at first. As always, a meet and greet with any resident dog will be required to make sure everyone is a good match. She hasn’t had the chance to meet cats yet, so that remains a mystery waiting to be solved. Compatibility with children is unknown. She has a low-to-medium energy level and enjoys her daily walks at the shelter. Being a Schnauzer mix means Nicole will need regular grooming to keep her beautiful coat looking its best. Professional grooming and routine brushing will be part of her self-care routine, but she promises the adorable results are absolutely worth it.Nicole is currently available through the shelter’s Foster-to-Adopt Program, which means you can start bonding with her right away while she finishes her vetting with the shelter veterinarian. Her vetting includes her spay surgery, vaccinations, microchip, and heartworm test.If you’re ready for a sweet, affectionate little companion who prances through life with style and charm, Nicole might just be your girl.
