Meet Trudy 🐾 Trudy is a 5-year-old, 18-lb Miniature Schnauzer with the softest heart and the sweetest soul. After spending her whole life as a puppy-mill mama, she’s finally getting the chance to discover what it means to just be a dog. Trudy is a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her gentle and loving personality really shines. She’s incredibly sweet and enjoys quiet companionship with the people she trusts. Watching her slowly learn that the world can be kind is truly special. She’s currently using potty pads and doing well, and she’s beginning to learn the basics of walking on a leash as she gains confidence. Trudy is crate trained but does well without one and appreciates a calm, cozy space where she can relax. Because so much of life is new to her, Trudy would thrive in a patient, loving home—ideally a quieter environment where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. With kindness, routine, and a little time, this beautiful girl will blossom into a devoted and grateful companion. Trudy has spent years taking care of others. Now it’s her turn to be someone’s cherished family member. 💕 Trudy is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. Meet Buzz, our tiny "Bee-utiful" boy! Born on November 27, 2025, this 5.8 lb. Mini Schnauzer/Mini Aussie mix is ready to fly straight into your heart this spring. Buzz may be small, but he has the energy of a hive in full bloom! While he was born with microphthalmic eyes (smaller than normal), he doesn’t let his limited vision slow him down. He has a vision response in his right eye and likely some in his left, too. To Buzz, the world is just one big clover field waiting to be explored. True to his name, he’s quick, curious, and incredibly fast—frequently "buzzing" around the room with puppy joy. He’s a resilient little sprout who plays, snuggles, and navigates life just like any other pup. While he’s a tiny, Buzz has a big personality and doesn't realize he's any different from the rest of the swarm. Buzz is looking for a hive that will provide consistent structure and plenty of patience for his potty training journey. His limited vision doesn't hinder him in the slightest, so he needs a family that won't overprotect him, but rather treat him like any other puppy. Meet Benny This handsome 7 year old boy finds himself in rescue due to his family not able to care for him after a new diagnosis of Diabetes & Cushings. Benny is a sweet quiet boy that loves his person. His diabetes is now managed as he receives 3 units of vetsulin twice a day. He also takes 10mg Vetoryl daily for his Cushings. He is on Hills Science Diet W/D. Benny is neutered, house broken, and does not require a crate but is crate trained. He has had a dental, utd on all vaccines, chipped, and on prevention. Meet 10 year old Jingles, looking for his furever family. Jingles is a loving and gentle soul seeking a special home that can accommodate his needs as a diabetic pup. Diagnosed just last year, Jingles hadn’t been fed a proper diet and his weight became out of control. Now with no table food, prescription food, insulin injections twice daily he is doing phenomenal. His care is all about routine. He takes his daily injections like a champ and he’s down 15 lbs. since entering rescue. His insulin was at 16 units twice a day, but now on 8 units twice a day. Jingles loves to run and play with is foster brothers and sisters so a home with back yard is a must as well as another pup. He will walk on a leash, but does require some training as he does pull. He is completely house broken, and crate trained. Even though this sweet boy is crate trained he doesn’t requitd it and does love to sleep in the bedroom with you on a doggie bed at night.
