She enjoys making new friends, exploring her surroundings, and turning everyday moments into fun adventures. Her cheerful attitude and affectionate nature make her a joy to be around. At just 5 months old, Molly is at a wonderful stage of development where she is eager to learn, bond with her family, and experience the world around her. She loves attention, enjoys playtime, and thrives when she is included in family activities. After a busy day of fun, she is more than happy to settle in for cuddles and quality time with her favorite people. As a Schnauzer Mix, Molly is likely to be intelligent, alert, and eager to learn. Schnauzers are known for their loyalty, trainability, and engaging personalities. With continued guidance, socialization, and positive reinforcement, Molly has all the potential to grow into a wonderful lifelong companion. Molly would thrive in a home prepared for: Ongoing puppy training and supervision Daily exercise, playtime, and enrichment Positive socialization experiences Structure, consistency, and routine Plenty of companionship and interaction A lifelong commitment to her emotional and physical well-being Like all puppies, Molly will need patience, guidance, and continued training as she grows and matures. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue puppies come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or formal training before arriving at rescue. Puppies require patience, consistency, and supervision as they learn how to navigate life in a home environment. Adopters should expect normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, teething, accidents, learning household routines, and testing boundaries. These are all normal parts of healthy puppy development. Molly will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Patience, consistency, and supervision Mental and physical enrichment Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn routine 3 months to feel fully at home With patience, training, and love, Molly will grow into a confident and devoted companion. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a puppy is a lifelong commitment that includes training, exercise, veterinary care, and emotional responsibility. Molly will need: Routine veterinary care and completion of her puppy vaccine series Preventative care including flea, tick, and parasite prevention Proper nutrition to support healthy growth Daily exercise and mental enrichment Ongoing training and socialization A safe, stable indoor living environment Because Molly is still growing, her family should be prepared to continue helping her develop confidence, good manners, and positive habits as she matures. Molly is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Story
Hi, I'm Sono — a 4-year-old chocolate and white wirehaired terrier mix ready for my forever home! 🐕 I'm a medium-sized guy at just over 31 pounds, already neutered, and I've got a medium energy level that means I'm up for adventures without being overwhelming. I'm dog-friendly and do great in small playgroups, so I'd love a home where I can have some furry friends around. I do have heartworms, but with proper treatment and care, I can live a full, happy life by your side. Come meet me today — I'm waiting to show you what a great companion I can be! ❤️

MY ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN PAID BY A GENEROUS DONOR, so the adoption fee is waived for you!Meet 💛PUMPKIN & LATTE💛. Oh, these sweet babies have been THRU IT. They are part of 21 chi mixes that came to the shelter from really sad circumstances. The local fire department responded to a fire at a residence, only to go in the home and find 21 dogs "cruelly confined". It was a race against the clock to get them all out alive, and thank goodness they did. Animal control seized the dogs, bathed them, and cared for them, then the owner surrendered them. Many required oxygen to survive, and they were all covered in a thick layer of soot. These poor scared babies were locked in crates in the home, filled thick with feces. They all have a degree of flea dermititis and scabs, but thankfully they are all heartworm negative! While most of the dogs were ages 4mos to 2 years, we focused our efforts on the 2 seniors. Latte has fully healed, and is happy, healthy, and ready for a forever home. He is medium energy and loves to play with other dogs. He would LOVE a family that can take him on regular walks and keep up with his silly personality. We are so grateful for the first responders and animal control officers who saved these babies and got them cleaned up!!Nationwide transport available, thanks to our Flight Transport partners with SWATT Transport and that flies in cabin with Southwest AirlinesDog adoptions are $250, and if you need nationwide transport, it's an extra $250 for the flight and all materials needed.
