Story
Jax is about 7 years old, he loves to cuddle, be active, and just be loved on. He’s never been aggressive and is great with kids from what we have seen. He loves to be the center of attention and will be your best friend. Unfortunately due to severe allergies, we are unable to keep him and give him the life he deserves. We hope he finds a great family that can bring him along everywhere they go and love on him.

Story
Male, Schnauzer mix, 2-3 yrs, 16 lbs Edgar is a kind and gentle old soul who came to us from the Weslaco Shelter near the border of Mexico. He’s an absolute doll to have around — calm, loving, and grateful for every bit of attention. Edgar gets along beautifully with everyone and adores people. What he deserves most now is a home of his very own, where he can finally relax and be loved for the rest of his days. Medical: HW + (will be treated before adoption) Chagas positive *started on Dr. Madigans protocol. Edgar has a low titre of 20 and we have been advised to retest all 20 tires 30 days after treatment due to the test producing false positives. If he tests negative on his second test 12/6/2025 he will stop meds. Due to testing positive for both HW and Chagas, he will not be eligible for transport to St. Augustine on Dec. 20th. With treatment, Chagas is fully curable, and dogs go on to live long, happy lives. Tracy’s Paws is one of the first rescues to test every dog for Chagas, and we’ve had measurable success with our treatment protocol. We are also committed to educating adopters and the public about Chagas so even more dogs can be helped. Learn more here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip Breed listings are our best guess, based on appearance. Story
Winston is a real charmer! He wins the hearts of everyone he meets. He just showed up in a neighborhood looking for someone to love! After taking him to a vet clinic to be scanned for a microchip and posting him all over social media no owner came forward. Now Winston is looking for a new family. He seems to be extremely friendly with everyone he meets however we do not know how he would do with children. The doctor is guessing him to be about 7 - 8 years old. He seems to be house trained and has not been destructive in any way. He very much enjoys going for walks and likes to spend time outside. His biggest love is sitting in laps and giving kisses if he can get away with it! If you think Winston may be a match for you just let us know!

Story
Boo WHO?! A Boo who would love to be with YOU! This sweet boy arrived at SNIPSA with an unknown history but we suspect somewhere along the way he had a spinal injury. He gets around like a champ greeting his fan club with a wagging tail. Boo is social, curious, and wants to join you on the sofa for long siestas. His favorite show is the Golden Girls and his favorite food is a sliver of steak. He does well with other dogs and is well behaved in the house. He isn’t loud or overbearing and is eager to find a pillow just to bed down wherever that may be. The downside is Boo suffers from mild urinary incontinence and his bladder needs to be manually expressed a few times a day. We know we have probably lost our audience at this point, but in reality it’s super easy. Just a little squeeze, he relaxes and the bladder is emptied. He is aware when the bladder is full and more than willing to help with the process. He can wear a belly band if needed for added confidence. With this aside, we know Boo will need that special person willing to step up for that special dog. Yet, we are confident there is a home for every dog so we were willing to take that chance. Please consider opening your heart and home to our scruffy little friend! He will definitely keep you smiling. Apply to adopt Boo today!
