This goofy guy approaches life at full speed — whether he’s zooming around the yard, tossing his toys in the air, or enthusiastically inviting you to play. He plays rough and is still learning that not everyone wants to wrestle like it’s the championship round. Personal space? He’s heard of it… but hasn’t quite mastered it yet. Salty would do best as the only dog in the home for now, so he can focus on learning his manners and building a strong bond with his people. He hasn’t lived with cats or children before, so a home with older, dog-savvy kids (or adults only) would likely be the best fit while he continues his training journey. The good news? He’s smart, eager, and full of potential. With consistent training, structure, and clear boundaries, Salty is going to blossom into an incredible companion. And when playtime winds down? Meet Luna, your new shadow, snuggle partner, and best friend. Luna is a perfect blend of charm, sweetness, and devotion. Luna is wonderfully well behaved, with a gentle nature and a big heart. She has the personality of a companion dog who truly just wants to be part of your world. Luna loves to snuggle and always be right by your side. She loves her daily walks and is doing really well on a leash. Luna is ready to give her whole heart to her new person. Children 5 years and older. A fully fenced yard would be a bonus. (An adoption fee of $500 is required.) Once he feels safe, he becomes incredibly loving and loyal. He adores giving and receiving hugs, enjoys playtime, and has a fun, lively spirit. He is house-trained, walks nicely on leash, and enjoys being around children. Chewbacca does well with female dogs but can be territorial with other males. We’re not yet sure how he feels about cats. His Story Chewbacca’s journey hasn’t been easy. He was abandoned alongside two other dogs on a farm in Guadalajara. When he arrived at the shelter, he was covered in ticks and his fur was severely matted — clear signs he had been neglected. Today, he is healthy, safe, and ready for a fresh start. All he needs now is a warm, loving home where he can share the devotion and affection he has been holding onto.
