Meet Beautiful Iris! 🌸 This adorable 4.5-month-old female Morkie weighs just 4.5 pounds and is as sweet as they come. When she first arrived in rescue, Iris was a shy little pup—but in just two weeks, she has blossomed into a loving, joyful companion. Iris has been fully vetted and is healthy overall, with the exception of a moderate overbite. Her vet recommends monitoring it as she grows, but for now, she’s thriving and having no trouble eating or playing. She’s enjoying her Fromm Puppy kibble, loves her chew bones (especially while teething!), and has quickly settled into her foster home. Iris adores playing with her foster sister, has discovered the joy of toys, and happily greets anyone who visits—her personality is truly shining. She’s doing great with her puppy pen and crate, sleeping soundly through the night. Potty training is underway, and she’s loving all the exciting smells and adventures that come with time outside. She’s also starting to get comfortable with a harness and leash, practicing with short indoor walks. Iris is catching up on her puppy vaccinations and will soon be ready to explore the world more fully. She’ll need regular grooming, and once she’s up to date on vaccines, she’s looking forward to her first official spa day at the groomer. Iris is ready to find her forever home and would thrive in a family with children or another young, playful dog to keep her company and share in her fun-loving spirit. Iris is truly a joy—full of love, curiosity, and puppy charm—and she’s ready to find her forever home! 💕 Leia’s Hope is a volunteer-run, foster-based rescue. All of our dogs live in foster homes. Applications typically take 7-10 business days to process, meet and greets are scheduled only after an application is approved. We do not transport dogs; adopters must travel to the dogs location in Troy, MO for meet and greets and adoption. Our adoption fee is $275.00 which includes Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, current heart worm test, DHPP booster, Bordetella vaccine, Microchip, Worming.Dahlia Est DOB 4/22/2022 Female Poodle / Shih Tzu Mix Dahlia — A Gentle Soul Learning to Bloom Meet Dahlia, a beautiful 2‑year‑old Havanese/Poodle mix weighing about 10–12 lbs. She was rescued from a commercial breeder, so the world is still a very big, very unfamiliar place to her. Dahlia is shy and easily overwhelmed, but beneath that fear is an incredibly sweet, gentle girl who wants to trust. Even when she’s scared, Dahlia has never tried to bite. She’ll let you pick her up, hold her close, and reassure her that she’s safe. With patience, kindness, and a predictable routine, she will continue to blossom. Dahlia would do best in a calm home with another friendly dog who can help her learn that life isn’t so scary after all. She’s great with other dogs, and while we’re not sure about cats, her soft temperament suggests she may adjust with slow introductions. Because she’s timid and sensitive, Dahlia would thrive in a home without young children.
