Drake 🐾 This handsome brindle boy is Drake ! He is a cur mix, possibly a Tennessee Treeing Cur. Drake is a happy, playful puppy who loves hanging with the big dogs in his foster home. He following the other dogs around and has so much fun no matter what they are up to. He also loves his people and is the sweetest snuggle bug once he gets his energy out. Not only is Drake adorable, he is very smart as well. He is crate trained and doing great with house training. Drake would love a fenced in yard and some older children and or a furry friend or two to play with. He is an excellent rider and would definitely want to be included in all the fun adventures. Story
I initially adopted Skye via foster program at GBHS and she settled in very quickly with me about 2.5 years ago. She instantly opened up and became a different dog fast with me. This past March I moved in with my partner into an apartment and we need to rehome her due to financial constraints. She is a very sweet dog and needs an adopter who is patient and able to provide consistent stimulation and easy outdoor access and physical activity. Though initially shy at first, if you open your home to her, she will reward you with her whole heart and friendship. Favorite activities include long walks, snuggles, and plenty of playtime with other dogs and balls. Skye will be a wonderful addition to an active family looking for a running buddy or additional dog to manage the infamous backyard zoomies

Meet Finn!If youre looking for the definition of a good boy... you just found him.Finn is everything you could want in a pupsweet, smart, and full of love. Hes amazing with other dogs, cats, and kids, making him the perfect fit for just about any family. Hes both crate trained and potty trained (yes, really!) and will even go to the door to let you know when he needs to go out. Talk about a dream dog.He takes correction beautifully and truly just wants to make his people happy. Finn is the kind of dog that settles right into your home and your heart.Finn recently recovered from tick paralysis, and while he has come a long way, he still has a little wobble in his hips. Sometimes he may lose his balance but dont worry, he pops right back up and keeps going like nothing happened. Honestly, it just adds to his charm. He plays with dogs of all sizes like a champ and lives life like a completely normal, happy pup.He is neutered, fully vetted and microchipped. If you're looking for a resilient, loving, and all-around incredible dog... Story
My name is Tucker. I am a big, lovable, and goofy puppy. I love nothing more than to get love and cuddles from my human. I also love to play outside. I am crate trained and almost completely potty trained.I would do well in a home with another dog my size. Because I am a big puppy, I wouldn't be a good fit in a household with small children. Although I love my foster home, I can't wait to find my furever home. I am being fostered in the Huntsville, AL area but am available to the right home via transport. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention. Apply at https://forrescue.net

Story
Sinbad is a handsome, approximately 9-year-old mix of Rhodesian Ridgeback and Mountain Cur, weighing about 75 pounds Sinbad has spent his entire life on a horse farm surrounded by animals and family. He has lived with horses, cats, chickens, and another dog with whom he gets along well. He’s comfortable around horses, although he does enjoy trying to chase the chickens and cats if given the opportunity.   Sinbad loves being outside. Playing fetch and Frisbee are some of his favorite activities, and he always enjoys going for walks. As he’s gotten older, he’s become even more affectionate. A true definition of a lap dog, he loves hard. He absolutely loves attention from his people and will happily roll onto his back for belly rubs and cuddles. He especially enjoys relaxing in bed with the adults in the house and simply being close to his family.   Sinbad has grown up with four children and, for many years, showed incredible patience as they played with him, hugged him, and climbed all over him. As he’s entered his senior years, however, he prefers a quieter lifestyle and has less tolerance for the constant activity that comes with a busy household of young children.   One thing that’s important to know about Sinbad is that he has always displayed some resource-guarding tendencies with high-value items like his balls, toys, and bones. Once he’s finished playing fetch and takes his ball to settle down, he prefers to be left alone with it. Because of this, he would do best with owners who understand canine body language and are willing to simply give him his space when he has something he considers valuable.   His present family has grown over the years, and with children now ages 2, 4, 9, and 11, his home has become much busier than it was when Sinbad was younger. While he still craves attention and affection, he no longer enjoys the constant hustle and bustle. Now,  he deserves a quieter home where he can be the center of someone’s world again.   Sinbad would thrive in an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy children who understand and respect his boundaries. He would make a wonderful companion for a single person, couple, or retired family looking for a loyal, loving dog to share their days with. He has so much love to give and simply wants a peaceful home where he can enjoy walks, snuggles, belly rubs, and all the attention he deserves.   (posted 4/5/26, RH)  Adoption Fee:  $100.00  July 19, 2026, 11:24 pm
