He's not a barker even when the other dogs get excited, he quietly sits on his bed like the good boy he is. He's house-trained, gets along with cats, dogs, children and loves a good game of fetch!Animal has been sponsored so, the adoption fee has been waived. Story
Hi, I'm Buttercup! You may know me by my former name, Roscoe, but I'm embracing my new name and all the love it brings! I spent the last two years in a small-town shelter in Arkansas, where life was tough and resources were scarce. Despite my age of 10, I was overlooked and starving in a crate, but thankfully a rescue group recognized my need for help and brought me to a better place. Now, I’m on a journey to regain my health and strength, and I'm making progress every day! I adore spending time with other dogs and have even made friends with a cat, showing just how ready I am to be part of a loving home. Rolling in the grass of a normal backyard is one of my favorite new experiences, and I absolutely love wearing a cozy sweater. At the shelter, I lived outside in the elements, but now I can feel the warmth of a safe and loving home with my foster parents and my two foster canine siblings. I'm seeking a forever home where I can be loved the way every dog deserves to be loved. Even though I'm 10 years old, I have plenty of life left to live and have so much lost time to make up for. Hope you meet you soon! Buttercup
