She's crate trained and house trained, making her a great companion for any family. Walking well on a leash, she's ready for adventures with you! **Confident and Playful** Carley is a confident girl with a spirited streak when it comes to playtime. She's not afraid to take the lead at the dog park and loves to initiate play with her furry friends. With her strong personality, she knows how to have a great time! **Sweet but Shy** While Carley can be a bit shy in new and unfamiliar places, she warms up quickly once she gets to know her surroundings and the people around her. Once she feels comfortable, her playful and loving nature truly shines! **A Rescue Story** Before finding her forever foster home, Carley and her sister, Sami, were tragically left tied up outside a local shelter. They were there when workers arrived and sadly ended up on the euthanasia list. Fortunately, Team Memphis swooped in and rescued them both! Since then, Carley has thrived with her foster mom, especially enjoying the company of her doggy brother. **Fun Activities** Carley has an adventurous spirit! She absolutely loves the dog park and playing with other dogs, where she can run and have a blast. Some of her favorite activities include playing fetch with a tennis ball-she's even been spotted picking up and tossing the ball to chase it herself! She also enjoys her Kong toy filled with natural peanut butter or her silicon stick, which keeps her happily occupied for hours. ** Loving Goofball:** With lots of spunk and character, Carley loves to snuggle up close to her humans. She's a loving goofball who never met a belly rub she didn't like! ** Clever Communicator:** Carley knows several basic commands, including sit, stay, food, and play; She also understands some sign language commands, making her a unique and engaging companion! Her ability to respond to both verbal and visual cues adds an extra layer of fun to her training and interaction. ** Separation Anxiety:** Carley does experience some separation anxiety, but her foster mom has been working diligently to help her adjust to their work schedule. With patience and love, she's learning. ** Overall** Carley is an affectionate girl who is ready to steal your heart! Story
Updated 26Nov25 Clover’s Bio: Meet Clover, the goofiest meatball dog ever! Clover is a 4-year-old Mountain Cur mix and an 80-lb chunk of pure love. Don’t let his size fool you—Clover truly believes he’s a lap dog. He loves to cuddle as close as possible, and personal space isn’t really in his vocabulary. He just wants to be near his humans or at least keep you in sight. Clover is thriving in his foster home, where he’s been for over a year. His foster family recently welcomed a newborn, and Clover has taken his new role as “Nanny” very seriously. He loves checking on the baby in her crib or stroller, and despite all the changes, he’s been adapting wonderfully. Clover also lives with two young female dogs, whom he absolutely adores. Over time, his foster family has learned he really enjoys routine. He knows exactly when it’s time for a walk—his favorite part of the day—and he’s just as excited for mealtime. He’ll sit patiently by his bowl as a polite reminder that dinner is approaching. Clover is always up for an adventure, especially if it involves a car ride to get Chick-fil-A nuggets with his foster sister. He’s a very spoiled and very loved boy who’s treated just like a member of the family. He even has teenage “cousins,” and yes—he already has his favorites! We also did a cat test with him a couple of weeks ago, and he passed with flying colors 🐱. The cat hissed at him, and Clover got scared and backed away, showing zero interest—so he’s definitely cat-friendly! Clover adapts quickly to any environment. He’s the perfect couch potato if you want a snuggle buddy for movie nights, but he can also be your best hiking or travel companion since he loves car rides and long walks. He’s been such a wonderful companion throughout the past year of fostering, and now it’s time for him to find his happily-ever-after. 💚
