Story
Carley is such a fun-loving dog! She is crate trained and house trained. Carley walks well on a leash. She is a very sweet girl, but she can be shy in new, unfamiliar places. Once Carley becomes familiar with new places and/or people she comes out of her shell, and she warms up fast! Before we rescued Carley, she was found outside of our local shelter along with her sister, Sami. We rescued them both. She has really blossomed while she has been with her foster family. She has a doggy brother, and she enjoys playing with him. Some of Carley's favorite things to do: she loves to play fetch with the tennis ball with a human or by herself; on several occasions we have seen her pick up and toss the ball to chase it. She also enjoys playing with a Kong toy with natural peanut butter or her silicon stick. Those toys will keep her occupied for hours. Carley has a lot of spunk and character. She loves to snuggle and be close to her humans. A loving goofball who never met a belly rub she didn't like. She does have some separation anxiety her foster family has worked with helping her adjust to their work schedule. Overall, Carley is a loving girl, and she will steal your heart!

Story
Clover is an absolute doll. He is a big baby. He loves to run and play but often falls down because he is still a puppy. He's never met a stranger. Clover loves life and everyone in it. His foster family has 4 small dogs, cats, bunnies & chickens. He is nice to all of them even though they are all a little scared of him due to his size. He does like to watch the chickens scatter as he runs up & down the fence. Clover has a heart of gold and thinks the entire world is just as beautiful as his precious soul.

Story
Hi, I'm Chili, but don't be frightened, I'm not spicy at all! I'm a 70lb, mixed breed brown dog living my best life with my foster moms in Pittsburgh, but I can travel for the right new home! Things I like: Other dogs of all sizes, kids that are old enough that I can knock them down and they can get back up. Treats A yard to lay in all day, a walk or maybe two a day, and some yard play time; any and all stuffy toys (I'm a good boy and I just squeak them). A tennis ball that you throw, I get, and I never give back to you. Did I say treat? My crate: I snooze in it at night and during the day when my foster moms are gone! Cats: we don't know about me with cats, but we think that may be a bad idea because I can be rambunctious sometimes! Men: I like men. but I need time to warm up. I'm not aggressive at all. but I may hide from them a bit at first. I am learning all about staircases, I need time to adjust to them; my foster family has three floors. Things that I hate: Construction zones: what the heck is going on? I will bark out on a walk at a jackhammer to protect you! Actual chili peppers: plz do not feed me these (he's never tried, we are just being silly, but he does love his 'chili pepper' toy! Chili is wonderful. loving and fun dog! He has a great personality, and he will make a great companion.

Meet Rosie! She is absolutely the perfect dog for a family! She loves playing with children of all ages, as well as other dogs. She is a cat-friendly girl and is not food aggressive. Rosie sits on command and loves to give lots of kisses. She is completely housebroken and kennel-trained. She is still learning to a proper young lady on leash, but she is so smart and eager to please, she will get it in no time. Rosie is quiet, fun-loving and rarely barks. She is a medium-sized low-rider and just adores toys, especially tennis balls. Put in your application today to make this special girl a part of your family!

Story
This nugget is Honeybun, an approx. 4 yr old Mountain Cur Mix, 60 lbs. She is an easy dog that rarely barks, plays well with small to large dogs, she is cat friendly, house/kennel trained and loves to ride. Looking for a companion dog, Honeybun is your girl! Ready to travel, she is game on whether a road trip or a quick trip to the field checking the livestock. Need a partner to relax & watch a movie, bring on the Pupcorn...loves couch cuddles. Honeybun keeps a keen eye on her domain from her porch perch & quick to inspect anything she deems suspicious. Good girl Honeybun! 'Honeybun was originally a temporary foster through an overcrowded rural shelter but after she arrived, we could not return her to the shelter. She is an excellent dog that has no problem blending with the pack. She was found as a stray but there is no doubt this girl had a home at one time.' Looking for an exceptional dog? Honeybun would love to share her life with your family. Honeybun is fostered in Northern New Hampshire by one of our volunteer/adoptive families in Bethlehem.
