Meet Cedar, a sweet, independent, and active 4yo Mountain Cur mix. He’s the ultimate adventure buddy who loves outdoor exploration but settles beautifully indoors.Cedar is fully crate-trained and a graduate of a premium 5-week board-and-train, mastering commands like Sit, Down, and Leave It. While generally fantastic in public, he has an infrequent tendency to react by nipping at baggy pants, passing bicycles, or hanging bags and blankets.Cedar needs an attentive, vigilant owner who understands dog behavior to proactively manage him around guests and in public. He thrives on a steady routine, structure, clear boundaries, and love. An inattentive owner who fails to enforce discipline will NOT work for him. Changing environments will be tough initially, but with a confident, structured leader, he will be the ultimate companion.To ensure a smooth transition, we are including his crate, gear, and 5 months of flea medication.

Our medical team does everything they can to ensure the health of our dogs before they are placed up for adoption, which includes (but is not limited to): - Vaccinations against Parvovirus, Distemper, Adenovirus and Parainfluenza (all dogs have at least 2 of these vaccines (value $60+), puppies at least 3 (value $90+)) - Vaccination against Bordetella and Leptospirosis (value $40+) - Vaccination against Rabies (dogs 5+ months; value $20+) - Test (Idexx Snap 4Dx) for Heartworm, Lyme's disease, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis (for adult dogs; value $60+) - Recent full panel blood test (value $150+) for all adult dogs - Micro-chip with life long free registration (value $50+) - Deworming (roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms; value $20+) - Treatment with Bravecto against fleas and ticks (value $50+) Of course, ALL our dogs are spayed or neutered before going to their new home.
