Story
Hi! My name is Tinker. I’m a spayed female red merle Catahoula Hound mix living in a foster home. I was a stray but no one came to claim me. Staff think I am about 2 and 3/4 years old. (?)I`m an active, outgoing, inquisitive, sensitive pup, most likely a former country girl, ready for any adventure. I’m learning about suburban life while improving socialization skills through consistency and repetition in manners class and, occasionally, with play partner. I can self-entertain with toys, love to chew bones and don’t need to be crated if you are gone for a short while. Sniffing, searching for bugs in tall grasses and chase are favorite games, followed by a cool down in my kiddie pool. And, I bet I can out-walk you.I`m looking for a kind, patient, attentive owner, preferably one who is active, has a large yard, and will provide me with structure and continued training. Bicycles, runners and vehicles sometimes scare me, and as I am still learning to control my enthusiasm and may want to protect you, a gradual introduction to other dogs would be best. Currently I see cats as an opportunity to play chase. With time, lots of love and the right guidance, I`ll be your most loyal companion. I aim to please and generally respond to redirection and a tasty treat. If you`re ready to share your time and love shaping me into the perfect canine companion we can build a bond that lasts a lifetime. Are you my hero? I can`t wait to meet you and start our adventures together!
