Story
Hello! I'm Grizzly and I'm the total package. I'm a 1 year old mountain cur mix of pure joy wrapped in soft fur and powered by snacks, zoomies and curiosity. I had a little bit of a rough start as I was found as a stray and the world was a terrifying place initially but through continued work in a foster home on socialization and learning what love and pets are, my goofy personality has really blossomed and I've come leaps and bounds. I still often have some moments of cautious exploration when meeting new people or picking up on the vibe of a new environment, but give me time to sniff around and settle in and you won't find a sweeter, more excited, or happier boy than me. Once I'm comfortable, I'm not some chill couch potato - I'm more of a live, laugh, leap into a mud puddle kind of guy. I'm the ultimate "lets go do something" dog and have recently learned I love car rides and walks. My current foster family has another dog who I adore playing and running around the backyard with however I have not yet had the opportunity to meet any kitty friends. I've also been fantastic with kids of all ages and am potty trained. Grizzly is the kind of dog who makes life better just by being in it. He's smart, social, snuggly and just the right amount of silly. And he's looking for his people - the ones who'll give him a life full of adventure, treats and unconditional love. Hi! I am Carly, people tell me I am smart and beautiful! I make my foster parents smile because I am so cute in how I talk when I am asking for something. I have taught them all my languages for my needs! I can sit and wait patiently to be petted, I know to lay down and stay on command. I love to give my toys to people when I play. I live with other dogs, and am ok with most dogs, but can't play too hard. I am housebroken and crate trained, however it makes me a bit worried when I am left alone, so my perfect home should have someone who works part time,or has a hybrid schedule. I would be safer in a 6 foot fence but they may consider other options, as I do love to take long walks. Being an investigative hound, I could not be expected to stay in an unfenced yard! Older kids would be best. BJORK This beautiful girl sadly came to us when her owner passed. Bjork is a Catahoula Leopard Dog with the most striking markings. She truly is a people loving dog.Bjork has great house manners but will need some work on her leash walking skills.
