💙 Meet Baby — A Sweet Boy Who Deserves to Be Home Again Somehow, Baby found himself alone and abandoned, dumped in a neighborhood a couple of towns away from what had once been his home. We may never know what happened or why he was left behind, but one thing is certain: Baby didn’t deserve to be discarded. At 6 years old and around 50 pounds, Baby is a wonderful, loving boy who is fully vetted and ready for the forever family he should have had all along. Baby is fully house trained, knows his basic commands, and can be trusted to have free roam of the house while his people are away. He is a genuinely sweet companion who loves being close to his humans. In fact, morning cuddles are non-negotiable in Baby’s world! He also loves spending time in the yard, where one of his favorite daily activities is rolling around and enjoying life. He gets along well with the dogs in his foster home and has shown no resource guarding in the house. We don't yet know how Baby feels about cats, so that would need to be carefully assessed with any potential feline siblings. After everything Baby has been through, he still has so much love to give. He is ready to leave his days of being unwanted behind and finally have someone who will look at him and say, “You’re home.” Baby isn't asking for much—just a safe place to belong, a soft spot to sleep, someone to share his morning cuddles with, and a family who will never give up on him. Could you be the forever home Baby has been waiting for? 🐾💙

Story
Meet our friend Andy from @Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption. This sweet, energetic guy has been waiting a while for his new home, but he knows the right person or people will see him and pick him soon. Read about Andy and then let us know if you'd like to meet him. Maybe you'll be the one to pick Andy. Let's start by telling you that Andy is funny and entertaining and loving and such a goof. He's an eight-year-old pointer mix who has plenty of pointer energy. He would love an adult-only home where there aren't a lot of people coming and going because new people can be scary. He would be fabulous in a home with patient people who adore him, and where he can go on lots of walks or runs and play ball outside -- his favorite game! An avid nature lover, Andy also likes to watch birds and squirrels. (He's really just a little nosey, so he'll happily keep an eye on the neighborhood for you, too. Remember Mrs. Kravitz from Bewitched?) Andy is also a very smart boy. He's already crate trained and house trained, knows basic commands, and is always up for learning more. Do you have other pets in your home? Andy could do well with another pet (including cats!), as long as he had a proper, slow introduction. And here's another cool thing about Andy -- he's currently in board and train with The Pet Connection and would continue with classes and support after adoption. The Pet Connection will also help you with introductions to your current pets. To learn more about Andy, please call or text us at 913-671-PETS (7387). Andy's staying in Beloit, Kansas, but transport is available to the right home. #thepetconnection #PointerMix #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #PetAdoption #DogLovers #KansasPets #ForeverHome

Story
Describing 🧸Moose🧸as “a big teddy bear” is a compliment to teddy bears. In fact, we think it should get flipped around and start describing teddy bears as “just a small Moose.” 💯😆 He gravitates toward kids and is so very gentle with them. Same for grown-ups, but it’s just extra sweet how this big bouncy boy transforms around the smaller people 🥹🥹 Moose is a 6-year-old derpy, silly Plot Hound mix who weighs about 80 lbs. He’ll fit right in at absolutely any household and with any dog(s). He’s an adult dog, but he has puppy sensibilities and puppy-level happiness about everything. For everything positive, Moose takes it to 11/10. Dinner time becomes 🍔 d I n N e R t I m E 🍔 in Moose’s world. Going outside means 🎉 ooouuuuttttsiiiidddee 🎉to him. You get the idea. Because he’s actually an adult, though, he knows exactly how he is expected to behave and is very attentive to his people. So, when you use a command, he snaps to 🫡 🤴 These are just some of the commands he obeys: sit, shake, stay, down, roll over, fetch, drop it, kennel up. He is great on a leash as well 🧠. Do you have a fetch-loving home? (Did you know that was even a thing?) 🤣 That’s the kind of home that Moose will thrive in. Your throwing arm will be stronger and more toned than ever, if Moose has anything to say about it. He wants to tennis ball-max, but he loves all toys, and he doesn’t tear up his stuffies. He is house-trained and crate-trained and just so easy to live with. He should be in a cat-free home. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. His adoption fee is $175. We have to warn you: If you meet him, you’re going to love him 💘 And you can meet him as soon as you’re approved to adopt. 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕

Story
🙋‍♀️ Bestest girl Millie would like just a minute of your attention, please. And then after that, she’d like another minute 🙋‍♀️, thank you kindly. Well, maybe one more little minute… 😆 Ok, we’ll get to the 👉 POINT. Millie is a 2-year-old 👉 Pointer mix 👈 weighing 65 pounds, and she came to us after spending her whole life outside on her own 🌧️. So, how can ya blame her for wanting attention from her best humans – she’s making up for lost time here! ⏰ What Millie might lack in knowledge at the moment, she more than makes up for in L.O.V.E. 💖 You’ve never felt so special as you do when Millie greets you. If you didn’t know that you were awesome, well now you do ☺️. Not to put too fine a 👉 POINT on it, but we say “at the moment” on her training, because Millie is beyond ready to learn how you’d like her to be around the house. She’s house trained and crate trained, so you’re starting from a good place. She’s making quick progress on leash-walking as well. We’d also like to 👉 POINT out that Millie loves every person and every dog. No discrimination here – she’s completely open-minded to everyone being her friend and companion 👼 😇. In today’s world, she’s a breath of fresh air – and she’ll make you see everything through her refreshing perspective 🌿 🔄 We don’t know for sure about cats, but she’s not particularly prey-driven, so she might be just fine. Don’t mistake her for super high-energy just because of her exuberant greetings. The girl likes her naps 🥱. Seeing her zonked out and fully asleep around the house makes us so happy for her – finally, she can get a good rest after all that time outside! Millie is ready to 🎯 score major POINTS 👈 with all your family and friends, including the furry ones. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Her adoption fee is $175. She cannot wait to meet you, so get approved to adopt, and her foster will make it happen. 🐕 Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🐕
