Story
Ready to go 💨 Ready to love ❤️ Ready to be your BFF 🫶 🌟 Meet Star 🌟 Star is a 5-year-old, 43-pound Beagle/Catahoula mix with a fun, outgoing personality and a whole lot of love to give. She’s friendly, social and loves meeting new people. Take her to the park, on a walk, or anywhere with new smells and sights, and she’s in her element. Here are a few things you’ll love about Star: ⭐ Loves people and makes friends easily ⭐ Does well with other dogs (especially calmer ones) ⭐ House trained and sleeps on her own bed at night ⭐ Always up for a walk (or even a run!) ⭐ Big fan of car rides Star is an active girl who does best with daily walks and structure. She’s smart, food-motivated and eager to learn. She already knows commands like sit and shake, and she’s continuing to improve her leash skills. She’d love a home where she can be part of the routine – walks, outings and just everyday life! A fenced yard is a big plus, and she’d do best with older kids who are steady on their feet. Because of her strong prey drive, she’ll need a home without small animals like rabbits or chickens. She has done well around cats, but slow introductions are always recommended. Star is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Her adoption fee is $175. If Star sounds like your kind of dog, she’d love to meet you. 💛💫 Apply to meet Star by filling out an adoption application at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
👀 Look at this speckle-tacularly handsome boy! 👀 Spend your days (and nights) with an attractive young man who’ll charm you with loving companionship and keep you feeling vital and active. Ok, so he’s actually a dog, but we promise you won’t lack for company. Apollo is confident and athletic, and he is as friendly as they come. He is a 1-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Husky mix who weighs 40 svelte pounds. When he’s outside, Apollo wants to get moving. He’s easy to walk with you on the leash, and he’s all about the good smells, the neighborly folks and the peppy dog buddies. He could also make a terrific running partner, if you’d like to speed it up a little. Either way, he hopes that walking or exercise can happen daily. Once he comes inside, he’s mellow and attentive and ready to hang with his people or another dog(s) while they relax. He’ll probably even catch a snoooooze himself, and he prefers a 4-legged and 2-legged snuggling pal while he sleeps. At night, he slumbers in bed with his people. Apollo is a quick learner, and he already boasts a solid list of commands he knows, like sit, shake, down, and stay. He could be up for some higher-level training like agility work or other advanced commands, if you’d like to do that with him. Otherwise, bring out the toys, and he’ll have a grand time with squeaky toys and some bones. He enjoys a puzzle or a filled Kong as well. He is good with kids and gets along great with other dogs, so everyone is welcome. He’d love to have a dog sibling or other local canine playmate to romp with, but that’s not a requirement. He is house-trained and crate-trained. He can climb a chain-link fence, so he’ll need a privacy fence or a secure tether wherever he lives. Apollo is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $175 – we know you’ll find true love with this guy! Apply to adopt him today. Meet and greets will be scheduled with approved adopters from PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤
