Socks is a cool-ass dog — funny, sweet, energetic, affectionate, and full of personality. She’s incredibly smart, loves to play and explore, and takes beautifully to training both on and off leash. She’s the kind of dog who makes you laugh every day, and we absolutely adore her. We think she’d thrive with an experienced owner who wants a loyal, fun-loving companion to pour their attention into. Socks does have some reactivity, particularly barking and lunging at unfamiliar guests, and would do best as the “only child” in a calm, adult-only home. We’ve invested in an in-home trainer and worked hard to help her succeed. Recently, while trapped and in pain, she bit the fingers of one of our children who was trying to free her — her first and ONLY bite incident. The reality is that our household of 4 children can be overwhelmingly chaotic, and it won’t calm down for another decade. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. Jumbo was brought in with other puppies found as strays. He is a wonderful boy!! Friendly, happy and just a gentle pup. He gets along with other pups and has no issues with strangers or kids. He is curious and likes to see what's going on. He is learning how to use a dog door but will need puppy training. Meet Bonnie & Clyde – Two Hearts, One Incredible Bond! 🐾❤️ These pups are being fostered in Mississippi, but included in your adoption fee is transport to you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport which is the most animal friendly transport on the road! Bonnie and Clyde are an adorable brother-and-sister duo (or at least that's what we believe!) who are approximately 8 months old and appear to be Lab/Terrier mixes. These two sweet pups were found wandering together, and it was obvious they hadn't had an easy time. Both were underweight and had cuts and scrapes on their legs, making us believe they had been out on their own for a while, doing whatever it took to survive. Through it all, they had one thing they could count on — each other. ❤️ Now safe and sound in a loving foster home, Bonnie and Clyde are getting a chance to enjoy the puppyhood they deserve. But one thing hasn't changed: these two are absolutely inseparable! They eat together, go outside to potty together, play together, and pretty much do EVERYTHING together. Where you find Bonnie, you'll find Clyde, and vice versa! We aren't sure what adventures these two shared before coming into rescue, but whatever they went through, they went through it together. Because of their incredibly special bond, our greatest wish is to find a family willing to adopt them together. They've already lost so much, and we would love nothing more than for them to spend the rest of their lives side by side, never having to worry about being alone again. Bonnie and Clyde are currently living in a foster home, where their foster mom is getting to know their personalities and daily routines. She can be shy at first, but with patience and gentle encouragement, she blossoms into a playful, loyal companion. At Mikey & Me, she surprises everyone with her spry, sassy side when playing with younger dogs. Her perfect day? A little playtime followed by cuddling on the couch—she’s a true Velcro dog! Ideal Home: Jenny will thrive in a calm, consistent, more serene home environment. We’re looking for a person or family that’s willing to work with us on placing Jenny into a home slowly, making sure she’s not afraid. We’ve done this with other timid dogs with tremendous success. Meet Harvey! This heck of a handsome plott hound mix is two years old and 61 pounds of brindled beauty! Harvey is a guy who is all about the love! He makes it no secret that his happy place is being with his people. He already knows how to sit and takes his treats very gently. When it comes to toys, he's appreciates every kind there is. He enjoys the company of his fellow kennel mates and could make and excellent pal for your family fur baby. He's an easy-going guy who is a joy to hang with. Harvey went on an outing with some of our awesome volunteers and as you can see by the pictures, he had a great time. He looked cute as can be in his pumpkin outfit and enjoyed hitting the trail for some fun. He hopped right in the car and was ready to roll! He was good on leash and did well with passing people, pups and bikes. He even enjoyed exploring the water. He was very well-behaved when they stopped off at the store and finished the day off with an pup cup which he devoured. He's ready to join you on all of your adventures! As he is still a young man, Harvey will benefit from daily exercise, continued training, and a yard to enjoy in his new home.
