Story
Carey is a petite baby girl with a soft, loving nature and just the right amount of spunky personality. Carey loves sitting on laps—at least for a little while—before her puppy curiosity kicks in and she’s ready to hop down and see what’s next. She enjoys playing with her brother, her foster sister, and the other dogs in her home, and she gets along wonderfully with canine companions. Carey is currently working on her puppy manners, including learning not to jump on people and redirecting her natural urge to chew on hands and toes. She’s also learning leash skills and figuring out that walks are a shared experience, not a choose-your-own-adventure. Carey is doing well with housetraining and can go about five hours in her kennel without accidents. She hasn’t been tested with kids or cats yet, but her sweet, adaptable nature suggests she’ll continue to do well with proper introductions. With her petite size, white coat and brown ears, and adorable mix of cuddly and independent energy, Carey is the kind of pup who will keep you smiling and on your toes in the best way. ✨ Three Things You Must Know About Carey: She’s sweet but a little shy at first, then blossoms into a playful, slightly sassy pup. She loves other dogs and enjoys active playtime with her furry friends. She’s still learning puppy manners, including leash skills, jumping, and chewing. Carey is a female Beagle/Mountain Cur/mix who was was born approximately 1-23-26. She is spayed, age-appropriate vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, given flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. ***If you are serious about adopting, you must first complete and submit an application on our website. Our Adoption Team will respond via email from DollysLegacyAdoptions@gmail.com once you have completed an application. If a pet is still listed, it is not yet adopted as we update daily.
