Story
This little sweetheart is ready to bunny hop her way into your heart. Hayley enjoys fetch, snuggles, and nearly any other activity you have going on in your life. She enjoys long walks and does excellent on a leash. She enjoys small dogs & cats, but dogs bigger than her are intimidating and scare her. She has wonderful house manners and is fully housetrained. Hayley is looking forward to snuggling her way into your life. Hayley was rescued from a high intake rural outdoor shelter in Southeastern Missouri where she was on death row. There is no adoption program there, her only way out was to be rescued. Dolly's Legacy is honored to have saved her life and have promised her a happy home. Hayley is a female Mountain Cur/mix who weighs 37 lbs and was born approximately 5-2-22. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. She was provided life-saving heartworm treatment and will need to remain on monthly heartworm preventative (as all dogs should be) and retested in 6 months to ensure she is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. Story
Vanna is a bolt of lightning full of puppy energy! She would thrive in a home where she will get lots of stimulation and maybe even have a job. A working farm would be ideal, but a home in town with a fenced yard for her to romp in would be great as well. As long as she gets lots of playtime and gets to take lots of adventures. She is still a pup so is learning what is okay to put in her mouth and chomp on. She would benefit from puppy classes and is a quick learner, so would likely be a star student. She is fostering with large dogs & does well with them. Due to her herding instincts, she should be in a home with no kids or kids over the age of 10. This vibrant pup is ready to explore the world at your side! Vanna is a growing female Mountain Cur/Border Collie/Cattle Dog/Retriever mix puppy who was born approximately 7-15-23. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/heartworm preventative, dewormed . Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. Summit 6 is full of energy and very vocal. Got him as a puppy. Maggie 7 is the calm to their storm and she was adopted when she was a year old. Both came from Colorado and love to run off leash. I'd like them to stay together but know that might not be possible.

Story
Jackson came into rescue after the breeder retired & surrendered his remaining dogs. He had only known life inside a chain link dog run with a cement floor. He is loving his freedom now and his fun personality is emerging! He thoroughly enjoys engaging with other playful dogs & having their company. Noisy or active young kids would likely scare him. Jackson was born with a paw/ankle deformity, but he doesn't let it slow him down and doesn't seem to be causing him any pain. We have started him on joint supplements to be sure he is getting some added nutrition to help keep arthritis at bay. He will need to have a secure fenced yard as he is not familiar with leash walking and deserves to have free reign to romp, sniff & frolic. Jackson is a joy to be around as he blossoms into the happy dog he was always meant to be! Jackson is an English Pointer who was born approximately 8-5-18 and weighs 55 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
