Story
Our pets are fostered and physically located in Mt.Airy,NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to your location or one of our other north eastern delivery locations. This pup is a Catahoula mix. This pup was born 10-20-22. This pup will not be overly large. My educated guess is around 35-40 pounds at maturity. This pup is shy but warms up eventually. This pup is great with other dogs and cats. We have started crate training and potty training. I will consider a reduced adoption fee to the right home. This pup will be current on vaccines, deworming, preventives. This pup will be micro-chipped and spayed. This pup will receive a physical and a certificate of health prior to going home. The adopter will get all the health records with adoption. Frances is spayed! We require a prescreen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

Story
Handsome Toby is daydreaming about meeting his forever family and he is available for you to meet him in person! This sweet boy is extremely loving and happy to embrace all humans big and small. He thrives on being around people and is incredibly attentive to everyone around him and his surroundings. He is eager to please and will easily conform to your daily lifestyle, routine and activity and cherish the ground you walk on. Toby is playful at times, but he is also known to be a docile dog. He would thrive in a home that is winding down in their life, enjoys relaxing, doing things around the house and looking for devotion and companionship. He is the perfect Buddy! Toby likes walks, hikes, car rides and overall, just being around the ones he loves. At the same time, he loves to cuddle and be fawned over and will settle down with you to just hang out and relax. Toby is currently in a foster home and available for you to meet him. He completed a 2-week training course to become more acclimated with dog interaction. He gets along with dogs that have a certain temperament like an older/mature male or female that is appropriate. At no fault of his own, Toby lacked socialization skills with other animals, but has shown he is willing and able to learn positive interaction. His progression has been wonderful and is evident every day. Toby would do best in a home with no cats. Toby is about 4 years old, weighs 45 lbs, is fully vetted, and microchipped. We guess that he is a Catahoula mix possibly with beagle and/or lab. He is adorable and captures the hearts of all that meet him. If interested in learning more about Toby and MEETING him, please email Adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org and please include a phone number where you can be reached. WE ANSWER ALL EMAILS.
