Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Hank, the wiggly, loveable one-year-old Mountain Cur mix who will absolutely steal your heart the moment his little nub tail starts wagging with joy! This 48-pound bundle of sweetness is friendly, playful, and adventurous, with just the right amount of energy to keep life fun without wearing you out. He's the perfect mix of goofy and charming, and he somehow gets even cuter when he's excited. Hank has this signature move where he literally folds into himself like an excited little pretzel, and it never gets old. Hank is housetrained, walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, and gets along great with other dogs and calm indoor cats. He's even a gentleman around chickens and horses, which is honestly impressive for a one-year-old pup still figuring out the world. He's working on sit and down, and with consistent training he's going to be an absolute star. Speaking of which, Hank would thrive with a family committed to obedience training because he's smart and eager, and the right guidance will help him shine. He loves walks, exploring, playing with dog friends, chewing on bones, and basically any adventure you're willing to take him on. Once he's settled into a crate, he does just fine and relaxes. Hank is the kind of dog who just wants to be included in your walks, your errands, your lazy evenings, and everything in between. If you're looking for a sweet, silly, and loving companion to share your life with, Hank is your guy! Reach out to AARF by texting 931-260-8018 or visiting www.aarf-tn.com to start your application today.    Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. May 13, 2026, 5:46 pm

Story
Elsi is a three month old Cur mix coming to us from Louisiana with her sister, Eva. Elsi is the smaller sister, but she is still large and in charge! She's a sassy baby who's working on building her confidence and learning how to be a dog. It's hard not to get lost in her multicolored eyes which are turning bluer by the day (go figure!).

Story
Bo will be 2 years old on July, 7th 2026. We took him in from a mutual friend. He has a bit of anxiety being in a cage from previous living conditions. He is cage trained. He is very good around small kids and cats. He gets a little excited around other dogs at the park and sometimes territorial. All around he is a good boy! Very cuddly and lovable.
