Meet Felipa: The Pocket-Sized Texas Special!
Look, we've given it our best guess on what breeds Felipa may be made up of, but this girl is a true "Texas Special" that has us completely stumped! What we do know for certain is that she is 100% sweet, petite, and utterly adorable.
When Felipa first entered our care months ago, she was extremely ill and emaciated. We thought she was a little Catahoula mix pup due to the number of the breed in the immediate area she was found. Thanks to a lot of love and TLC, she has made an incredible recovery, though her rough start in life may have left her beautifully stunted in size. She is a perfect "pocket dog" size—weighing around 30 lbs and standing only about a foot and a half tall at the shoulder. She hasn't grown much at all, meaning she's likely to stay this perfectly huggable size forever!
