Story
Stella is a wonderful dog, she is super sweet, loves cuddles, extremely friendly, and LOVES being pet. However with extremely busy parents we can’t be home 24/7 and Stella has some anxiety. A person who is mostly home would be the best for her. Possibly someone who no longer works or a stay at home parent. She has anxiety and has caused some property damage when we aren’t home.

APPLICATION REQUIRED (COPY & PASTE THIS LINK) https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/RTH/Dog Age: 5 years (approx) Weight: 62 pounds Meet Bruno — a big handsome boy with soulful eyes and a heart full of love. We think this sweet guy may be a mix of mountain dog and pit bull, giving him the perfect blend of strength, loyalty, and gentle affection. At around five years old, Bruno is past the puppy chaos and ready to settle into a loving home where he can simply enjoy life by your side. He’s wonderful with other dogs, does well with cats, and loves people. Bruno is the kind of dog who just wants to be included — whether that’s hanging out in the yard, relaxing on the couch, or joining you for everyday adventures. Sadly, Bruno lost the only home he knew when his owner could no longer keep him. Through it all, he’s remained loving, trusting, and hopeful for a second chance. 🐾 Around 5 years old 🐾 Good with dogs 🐾 Cat friendly 🐾 Loves people 🐾 Sweet, loyal, and ready for a forever family Bruno has so much love left to give — now he just needs someone willing to give him the happy ending he deserves.

Story
Meet Olive! Formerly known as Socks at Harris County Pets, but when these babies join us we love giving them a fresh start with a brand new name. Olive is estimated to be around 2 years old and honestly looks like the cutest little mix of everything! She's about 50lbs. If you’re looking for a calm, easygoing, loving companion… Olive is your girl. This sweet girl has the gentlest soul and truly just wants to be close to her people. She was found as a stray, so we may never know her full story, but one thing is obvious… Olive knows love. She isn’t skinny, her coat is beautiful, and she melts right into you when getting attention. Olive is dog friendly, though she seems more like the “hang out and relax” type than the life of the party. She may still just be learning that she’s finally safe. Either way, this sweet girl is ready for a soft place to land and someone to love her forever. If you’ve been searching for a mellow, affectionate, sweetheart of a dog, Olive is waiting for you! Story
I was asked to shelter Zina until a new home was found. I already have 3 working dogs and 2 Corgi's. Zina has only been aggressive with one dog since she has been here and this was during a storm which my dog probably started it. Zina belonged to my nephew and his wife, but they are going through a divorce and cannot care for her. Zina has a very sweet disposition. We are on a 35 acre ranch and she has never attempted to chase anything or run off. She knows how to kennel, sit, stay and down. She would really do well with anyone, but because she loves attention, she would do great with a couple. If I didn't have so many dogs, cattle and horses, I would keep her, but I just can't.
