Story
Cajun is a handsome pup around 25 lbs with a confident personality and plenty of charm. He’s the leader of his siblings and definitely likes to be in charge, so he’d do best in a home without bossy little dogs. Cajun does great with bigger dogs, cats, and people. He minds well, is mostly crate trained, and is treat motivated, which makes him a fun and smart pup to work with. Cajun is ready to find a home that will appreciate his big personality and loyal heart. ##2743861##

Story
There’s just something extra special about Red Rover. At first meet, he may be a little reserved—quietly taking in the world and making sure it’s safe. But give him a moment, a soft voice, and a bit of patience, and you’ll see the magic happen. His tail starts to wag, his eyes light up, and suddenly this gentle soul bursts into playful zoomies and happy curiosity.   Red Rover is about 5 years young and loves exploring life at his own pace. He’s the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room, simply wanting to be near his person and see what you’re up to.   Once he trusts you, Red Rover gives his whole heart. He’ll be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your most loyal companion. Red does best with an owner who can provide guidance and be present during interactions with smaller dogs as he can sometimes forget his size and needs gentle reminders to stay calm. With slow, positive introductions, he warms up to smaller dogs, though supervision is important to help him succeed   With dogs his own size or larger, he can be reactive and is not a good match for multi-dog homes with similar or bigger dogs at this time.  He maybe feel less comfortable around dogs his own size or larger so to set him up for success it would be best for him to be in their right environment   He’s house trained, excellent on a leash, and does wonderfully in his kennel; though he’d much prefer curling up on a cozy bed with his favorite blanket nearby. Toys, chews, and cuddle time are his idea of a perfect day.   If you have a little extra patience and a whole lot of love, Red Rover is ready to give you his forever. ##2551204##

Story
Meet Wanda!  Straight from the heart of Texas, Wanda rode into Canada with a big ol’ “Howdy, y’all!” and a tail wag that could lasso your heart in seconds.  Wanda is a young pup full of "Yee haw"  energy, always ready to play, explore, and zoom around the yard like she’s chasing tumbleweeds. But don’t let her lively spirit fool you! Once she’s had her playtime, she’s happy to curl up and chill like a true Canadian on a snow day. She’s a smart cookie too — already knows how to sit like a proper lady and is picking up new commands faster than you can say “double-double.” Her foster home is helping her learn the ropes, and she’s proving to be a quick learner. She walks well on leash with very little pulling and responds positively to verbal queues. She is not reactive to dogs barking as she passes them by. Who knew the world is such a big place? With all these brand new experiences, she is understandably a bit nervous and has the potential to be a flight risk.  If you're looking for a pup with Southern charm, Northern manners, and a heart as big as Texas, Wanda's your gal! ##2469706##
