Story
Daphne is a sweet and petite rare ginger lady with striking green eyes and the quiet strength of a survivor. She has officially retired from street life and is ready to embrace her well-earned indoor era. She truly shines when you meet her on her level. Sit down beside her and you’ll see her soften, lean in for love. She is usually very quiet but will occasionally chat with you in her tiny, delicate voice. She has always seemed drawn to children. When kids would visit, she’d come to the door to say hello, and during school hours she would sit and watch them play like it was her favorite afternoon show. In her kittenhood, Daphne was a hunter and a climber. Now she’s ready to channel that clever energy into indoor adventures, cat trees, long naps and toy mice she can proudly “bury” in blankets and rediscover later. Yes, she really does hide her toys and dig them back up for round two. She keeps life interesting. She loves finding sunny spots to warm herself and will absolutely thrive with a cozy window perch where she can safely soak up the sun. Daphne can be a bit particular about her meals. Dry food is her favorite. She’ll take her time with pâté, and if you offer gravy she’ll happily lick that clean first. She adores turkey Temptations, chicken treats, and even baby food, which once helped her through a tough patch when she wasn’t feeling her best. This little lady has already proven how resilient she is. Now she’s ready for the safety, comfort, and devotion of an indoor-only home where she can finally rest, be cherished, and love someone deeply in return.Ps. Daphne is in a foster home with her foster sister Diamond and thought it is not required they would love to be adopted together! Their foster mom says they are very friendly, and sweet- and bond very well. When Daphne finally wakes up they normally play, eat and wander around together. They are also really good at sharing food/snacks. They both like playing with ping-pong balls- and feather toys Their foster home is in Philadelphia 19107
