Thor is a sweet 9-year-old mixed breed dog searching for a new loving home. He is neutered, current on all vaccinations, and has been well cared for. Because of a recent move and serious allergies within our household, we have made the difficult decision to rehome him.Thor has a calm, loving temperament and does well with kids. He enjoys being around people, lounging indoors, and going outside for walks or playtime. He still has plenty of love and companionship to offer and would fit well with a family, couple, or individual looking for a loyal companion.He is house-trained, crate-trained, and understands basic commands. Thor has been an important part of our family, and we are hoping to find someone who will give him the same care and affection he’s used to receiving.Please contact us if you think Thor may be a good fit for your home and family.

I found her at Gateway Cafe. She had been there for three days, hungry and scard. I put her on Leigh's lost and found, no one claimed her. I also called the Humane society's & rescue shelter but everyone was full and no accepting anymore animals at that time. My other female dog got along great but here lately has decided she no longer wants her around. I separated them for a couple of weeks hoping she just needed a break. No, she is just mean to poor Emma. I'm looking for a good home for her. She has been rejected to many times. Emma is Loving, thinks she is a lap dog & loves to go on walks.

Story
We adopted Wulf as a puppy he has always been high strung, which we attributed to the border collie in him. But as our family grew, so did his anxiety, he has lived in our home with two other dogs, and when his anxiety gets bad, he does lash out at the other dogs. The veterinarian has put them on Prozac, which helped at first but doesn’t seem to be as effective now. Him and my youngest dog got into it and he ended up getting hurt and had to be on antibiotics. Luckily, my parents took him in for a couple weeks so he could heal and during that time in a quieter environment with no other dogs, he did really well. He is a good boy, looking back. I feel like we’ve spent so much time trying to make him conform to our life when maybe we weren’t the right fit for him. I believe he would do better in a home with no other dogs, possibly with an older person or couple who is home more with him and less chaos. He’s smart he knows how to sit and shake he is crate trained.
