Story
Neo is a 75lb rescue dog who has been with us since he was 8 weeks old. Rescued from Mexico, he is a unique mix of husky, Dalmatian, boxer, and pit bull, with long, soft hair and brown spots, resembling the dog emoji 🐶. Neo is a sweetheart, loving people and cuddles. He enjoys attention and melts at your feet or in your lap for head, chest, or tummy scratches. Neo communicates his needs with gentle kisses, paw offers, or cute woos. He’s comfortable sleeping on his bed, the couch, or your bed if allowed. As a vigilant guardian, he will bark to alert you if someone is at the door. Neo is potty and leash trained, knowing commands like sit, down, off, stay, go to your bed, shake, heel, and back up. He can relax when you're busy but is energetic when excited or after a long break. He loves fetch and running alongside a bike. Neo can be left alone for up to 6 hours if he has had a bathroom break and access to food and water. An active home and experience handling a large dog is essential.

Story
June is a loving, playful and sweet 7 month old lab mix puppy looking for her forever home. She is high energy, loves people and especially loves other dogs. June was found as a stray and then adopted by us at 6 months old. She is a charming and lovable girl. Sadly, we didn't fully realize the time and financial commitment that a new puppy would be and won't be able to keep her long term but will be holding onto her until we find the right home. She is currently enrolled in Petco training classes and has learned basic obedience. She is mostly house trained with only an occasional accident. She is generally well behaved, is easily redirected to good behaviors. We are looking for a home that can give her plenty of healthy outlets for her energy (her current routine is 2 dog park visits/day), positive reinforcement training, and lots of patience and love. She would do very well with other puppies, she plays nicely and has great social skills. She would probably also be fine with a cat.

Story
Meet Max! He is looking for his new family to love him, play with him, and make sure he’s eating good food! He is a good boy who is very friendly with his family. He can be a little timid when he meets new people, but after you’ve introduced them and he knows they’re safe, he loves them! Max originally came from China as a rescue from the meat festival. He is 5 years old and he’s been in his current home since he was 4 months old. Sadly, we are moving to a new place that doesn’t allow dogs. He has lived with cats his whole life. He is not overly excited to hang out with cats, but he gets along with them just fine. He is not super affectionate- meaning he is not a lap dog. He does like to sit next to you, but he doesn’t like to cuddle. He doesn’t get mad, he just gets up. He likes to sleep in bed with his owner. He loves walks, watching squirrels, and going on walks. He’s potty trained and would like a back yard. He’s never bitten anyone. He’s a sweet, good boy!

Story
Raya is an incredibly affectionate 1.5 year old mixed-breed pup. She's potty-trained, will sleep in a crate/cage if instructed, walk on-leash, and will come immediately when called. She's very clean and smells great (no "dog" smell), no issues with anxiety, and is kid-friendly -- Raya gets along great with our two small children (2 and 5 years old), and is surprisingly gentle and patient with them. Raya also gets along well with our other dog, and will happily share food and toys. That said, Raya can be wary of unfamiliar people and dogs, and will often bark when meeting someone new. (It usually takes 10-15 minutes for her to warm up to strangers.) We rescued Raya 9 months ago from a local shelter after she was abandoned, struck by a car, and in immediate need of an operation on her rear legs/hips. We paid for her operation, got her up-to-date with all her shots, and had her spayed. I'm glad to report the operation was a success, Raya is fully recovered!

Story
Maya is a rescue. She is 10 months old and I have had ger for 4 months. We have an older dog and Maya gets along with her but got a rough with her two weeks ago. The fence is territorial for her when dog walkers past by. Other than this she is a great guard dog that will bark but lick you to death. Her barks is worse than her bite as they say. She has not been around kids or cats so unsure of this. She will play with them i am sure but kids can be rough and she is a puppy. She may nip, although this has never happened before. She would prob whine and get away. She does not like her collar pulled. She will walk with her harness etc. When the rescue found her walking the streets of San Diego, they only had her a very short time, prior to me adopting her. She will go into crate at night but needs some work. Ive been letting her sleep with me, because i will be devastated when she leaves us. I would keep her but my husband wants our elder dog to enjoy her last years alone. Only dog
