Story
Winnie is a whirlwind of joy wrapped in fur! She’s energetic, playful, and absolutely adores kids. Equal parts athlete and cuddle bug, she’s convinced she’s a lap dog—no matter her size. She gets along great with other dogs but would prefer a home without small animals such as cats. We need to rehome her as we have two cats and even when she’s in the crate she gets aggressive towards them. Winnie is crate trained and comfortable in her crate, and while she’s still learning housebreaking, she just needs a patient family to help her along. Winnie greets everyone with full-body excitement—expect wiggles and happy jumps! She’s leash trained, loves walks, and is clever enough to climb chain-link fences when she wants to explore her surroundings. Car rides aren’t her favorite yet, but she’s working on it. Goofy, affectionate, and full of life, Winnie is ready to love, play, and snuggle her way into the right family’s heart. 💛

Story
Sara is a great dog. My sister loved her with all her heart. Unfortunately my sister lost her battle with cancer and I cannot take the dog as they are not allowed where I live. Sara is all bark and no bite. She barks at first but as soon as you live on her she just wants to cuddle and play.

Story
We found Hugo on the side of the road near our home about two months ago. He was bitten up, emaciated, and full of worms. Unfortunately, the only shelter near our home is a kill-shelter - that wasn't an option. Over the last few months, he's recovered fully and is ready for his permanent home. Over the past two months, we've taken him for regular visits to our vet. He has been neutered, chipped, and is up to date on his vaccines. We also paid to have our vet repair his little belly button hernia. Hugo's estimated age is six to seven months old right now. We currently have four dogs that we've rescued, and our home is too small for another large breed dog. We've been unsuccessful locally finding him a new home. We're trying to find Hugo his new permanent home. We're willing to travel a significant distance to deliver him to a new good home.

Story
Brown Girl is 9 years old. We have had her since she was 9 weeks. She was rescued from a cold-weather situation with her mom and a little of 5 other puppies. Brown Girl is sweet, well-behaved, smart, and easy-going. She is not startled or bothered by loud noises (thunderstorm, fireworks, etc.). She loves a schedule and is very social (she wants to be wherever her owner is). She does well when I'm gone from the house for the day. She goes to her room, gets into her unlocked cage and stays until I return. She is not a barker nor a growler. She has never lived with other pets but has always been around children. She does have skin allergy issues that are managed by an occasional shot or meds. We are rehoming Brown Girl because my allergies have gotten considerably worse, and my work travel schedule has increased. In 2025 Brown Girl spent 128 days in boarding. I think thats selfish and unfair, she deserves someone who can love on her in her senior years and spend time w/her

Story
Meet Bruiser - the heavyweight champion of snuggles. Bruiser is a calm, lovable dog whose need for rehoming is due to the passing of his human family, not because of any behavior or care concerns. He came from a loving home with a large yard. While he didn’t receive much leash or recall training previously, he is smart and motivated by food & toys. He is already learning in foster care & can continue to grow with consistency. He still has verve, but is mostly a cuddly couch potato looking for quiet time & companionship. He has not had prior experience with children or cats. He currently lives with one other dog, whom he tolerates, but he has not been observed with unfamiliar dogs. He would thrive as an only dog in a peaceful, loving home where he can enjoy comfort & cozy companionship. He is a strong chewer who needs durable toys & appropriate treats, but he is well-mannered & has not shown any destructive behavior toward household items. 7yo, 66 lbs, neutered, vacc; can transport
