Story
We rescued/adopted with his brothers and he is showi g signs of stress of being with his brothers. Needs to be an only dog home. Does great with working schedule, crate trained & house trained. Loose leash walking with harness, shows reactivity when walked or out with lots of stimulation. Loves sprinklers and water, jumping through the water is his favorite thing to do. Will sit and cuddle and give you kisses every night. Normal diet with an added fish oil, sensitive skin does require weekly bathing.

Story
Loona is from the ACPS, and I got her as a gift to my mother to be her companion. They said she came to the ACPS as a stray and she was about 2 years old at the time. My mother has had Loona for 4 years now making her about 6 years old. Due to my mother getting older and needing to move into a new home that does not allow any pets she can not bring Loona to her new residence. Loona would be best suited in a home with older kids and no other animals in the household. Loona is highly motivated by her treats and will learn new commands for them. She knows the commands, sit, lay down, shake, turn around, and her favorite it the command “use your nose” which means she gets to go and search the room for her treats that my mom has hidden for her. Loona loves to sun bath and lounge out on the porch with her human. She loves her squeaky toys and her chew toys, and will play tug of war with any willing participant! Loona isn’t a very mouthy girl, so when she does bark it’s for a reason.

This is Reggie. He is an almost 8 year old (birthday estimated as June 14), 50lb, not neutered, bulldog mix. I rescued Reggie in July of last year and unfortunately it hasn't been easy. I was told he was older but in good health and housebroken. Reggie cannot go up or down stairs on his own. His back legs are wonky so he has the cutest waddle when he walks and runs but outside of making him a bit clumsy its no problem. He also is NOT housebroken but he is crate trained if not left too long. If he's let out often he won't go potty inside but definitely needs to go out every couple hours. He also has a nipple that hangs due to him scratching his belly on the concrete throughout his life. Reggie has head tremors but can still function during them and I have recently discovered that food or treats makes them stop. He absolutely LOVES to be outside, car rides, drinking water, food, and belly rubs. He's great with all people and animals. Please give this sweet boy a better life than I can.

I’m moving and I can’t take him sadly. He’s a great dog he’s playful and has a good bit of energy. He likes to run around so you may need space. He does good with other animals. He’s good with kids he just gets excited a little about new people he’s still young. He does good in the house just needs a little time

About 6 months ago, we found Dex and took him in, hoping we could give him a forever home. We truly tried to make it work, but with our work schedules, we are just not home enough to give him the time, attention, and love he deserves.Dex is genuinely one of the sweetest dogs I have ever had. He has a loving heart, a gentle personality, and just wants to be around his people. He also loves to play with other dogs and would do great in a home with a furry friend or someone who enjoys taking him out to play.This decision comes from wanting what is best for him, not from lack of love. Story
Hi there! Frankie is a 4 year old mutt I adopted from ACPS three years ago. I had a child 19 months ago and despite our best efforts, Frankie just isn’t adjusting well. She growls every time our toddler approaches her, so she lives her life behind a baby gate - being confined in my bedroom. Things about her;- good with other dogs. Would honestly do best in an home with a confident canine companion- good with cats - decent on a leash with her no pull harness- is on Prozac and anti anxiety medication - is VERY fearful, hence the medication - scared of men especially but did get used to my partner eventually. - does not like when guests come over and will bark. This has gotten better since medicating her, but still happens - very good girl at the groomers and vet -45 lbs Frankie is a shy and reserved dog who lacks confidence. However, once she is comfortable with you she is the sweetest girl. I feel she would do fine in myriad home settings as long as there are no small children.
