Story
Meet Henry, a 75-pound gentle giant with a heart of gold! For four years, he’s been a beloved companion to an elderly owner who can no longer provide the physical care he needs. We want to find a loving foster or forever family to spare this sweet boy the stress of a shelter.Henry is a 4-year-old Pit mix. He is fully neutered, vaccinated for rabies, heartworm negative, and on preventatives through Animal Aid. He is a perfectly well-rounded family dog who gets along beautifully with kids, cats, and other dogs. He also likes playing dress up and striking a pose! He is 100% potty trained and very well-behaved with gentle free-roam of the house. He has never been crated and wouldn't do well with it. Henry knows "sit" and is highly motivated by food and affection, making him eager to learn. His ideal match is an active home where he has a little time to warm up. Once he settles in, he becomes a world-class cuddler who will loyally seek out all the love and pets you can offer!

Story
Bella was rescued from a house that kept her locked in a shed in the backyard. She was brought into a home with three other dogs. This worked fine for about 6 months. Then the other three dogs turned on Bella and attacked her. The vet told us that the other three dogs had created “pack mentality” and had rejected Bella. For the last six months we have tried to rehome her. She is having to be isolated from the other three dogs. My 84 year old mother is the one home during the day to play dog shuffle, and Bella is just too strong for her. Bella is very loving when she is alone or with one other dog. She likes to be the center of attention, loves to snuggle and believes she should be a lap dog. She is house trained and crate trained. She loves her toys and running. She has been well cared for and is well loved. This is devastating for our family. We have always been on the rescuing end never on the rehoming end. But having to be isolated is no way for her to live.

Story
In March of this year, my husband and I found Frito in a Walmart parking lot when he was a little puppy. He is now around 8 months old, close to 50lbs, and playful. I would love to find him a loving home of someone who can give him the attention he adores and deserves, with a space to run around. He is Energetic and Playful, loves a long walk or a game of tug of war. He's a sweetheart, always wanting affection and scratches on his chest. Nervous, he takes a minute to warm up to strangers and is very Protective. Behavior Issues: I wouldn't recommend homes with other pets or children. While super playful and sweet, if others approach his food bowl, he exhibits food aggression. We also have a cat, they play together but we are about safety as they get older. Unknown reaction to children but he has a tendency to jump. Frito is really a great puppy but requires a bit more expertise in training than we can afford or provide.
